Most of you probably don't know who I am, but that is fair - I have not been around as of late. I'm writing this blog out of respect for myself and to express how I feel about my Stars experience so far, not because I think it will get me more votes. I also realize that surviving this poll will be a long shot, but who knows! Let's hush the non-believers (Refer to Exhibit A) ;)
I did not plan on joining Stars before actually enrolling. On Saturday, I woke up an hour before and decided to see if I could still win a click race. Little did I know, I can get in a 16 person Stars game and not a 28 person Hunger Games (so sad). Besides that, after getting in, I found myself working with people who I have previously worked against in past Stars, so trust and respect had to be built from the ground up. Additionally, I did not have a friend from outside the game that I could trust/talk to, so I really had to fend for myself.
I truly believe that I have been playing a class A game, despite being nominated right now, and as my game history shows, I play my best in the latter stages of the game - so let me get there! I also believe that I have made friends through this experience, and that is more than I can say for the first time in a long time.
With that being said, I hope everyone has a Happy New Year, as I am sure the next will be better than the last.
