Empoleon is a Water/Steel type and is the final evolution to the Piplup starter line. Now, the thing I like the least about Empoleon would be the design, I kind of find it a bit visually unappealing, but at the same I still do like the look of it. Anyways, Empoleon has always been my go to starter to use in the games, Water/Steel is just a fairly solid typing, and Empoleon has decent stats & decent movepool that really benefit it in game, then as far as abilities go, they are okay but nothing overly exciting. Honestly, this was a really hard decision to make (but all the decisions I make from here on out are going to be tough to make, literally all my top 22 are interchangable with one another, that's how close it is between them all) and even though Empoleon has always been my go to starter in the games, there is another final evolution of the starters that has grown on me lately that I prefer more than this, which of course I will talk more about that starter when I rank it.
