I’m done with being vague. Here are 3 separate times that I’ve encountered pedophelia towards me on tengaged.com
Starting with wwemrpeeps :
so basically, it was during the time when he was making the tengaged collage. We were talking on Skype and he told me about the collage and wanted me to send in a picture of myself for it. I said no because I felt uncomfortable sharing my pic on this website. Anyways he proceeded to ask me how old I was, and at the time I was 16 and I told him that. He then proceeded to say things like “omg you’re so hot for your age” and “you are so cute u should really send a photo of yourself to the collage” This honestly made me super uncomfortable
and I’m sure peeps is still going around doing shit like this.
NEXT was with bowkane :
I think I met him in a hunger or something and he asked me to add him on snap, but I didn’t know that he was 10 years older than me so I did. we started snapping and at first he seemed nice but then I snapped him a picture of myself with the dog filter with my real dog sitting beside me. Anyways Bowkane replied with “cute dog” and I was like “aw thanks I know my dog is cute” and THEN he replied with “that’s not the dog I was talking about ;)” When he said that a chill went down my spine.

So me and rob were actually good friends for a while. But after he a while I guess he became comfortable with me or something idk. But anyways he started by sending my underwear pics out of the blue, and it ultimately lead to him asking for my nudes, and I was 17 at the time. Obviously I didn’t know how to respond or react to it because it made me feel really uncomfortable. So I just told him “when I turn legal?”. After I had said that he would continue to remind me of what I said and it got to a point where I couldn’t take it anymore.
So yeah those are my personal stories of pedophelia on tengaged. Anyone feel free to share your stories as well! admin this is proof that it is happening. I’m not saying you should ban these 3 people I’m just saying maybe you could make it a rule so that people stop doing it.

This is harassment, agreed. But to label the first 2 as paedophilia doesn't make sense.
No one should make you feel uncomfortable, regardless of labels.
I mean the difference between a 27 year old calling a 17 year old cute and a 27 year old wanting to touch a 10 year olds privates is the difference between shrugging my shoulders vs finding out where they live so I can stand outside there home with my shotgun in broad daylight.
I sorta think your responses lend credit to the final point @Bluejay722 made. I've never looked, so for all I know it's out there. But I would expect to find rules on this site against such behavior? Something like, "must not engage in criminal action" or something pretty wide which would capture this. I don't know that calling someone underage cute is pedophilia. I don't know the specifics of the laws regarding asking for pictures. I kinda think that's the point though. SHOULDN'T this be known? Before any real action can be taken against any real behavior, rules need to be defined. Are they?
Jacadeux My point is with saying someone is cute or asking for a general photo may not be paedophilia. It's if they're saying it because the age, that's what would make it paedophilia in my perspective. Asking for nude pics and saying sexually explicit things, that is clear and crystal.
Either way, that stuff makes me uncomfortable when I hear it and I'm an adult. Why do you need my photo? How am I cute?
I call young people adorable because they're so young compared to me. I in no way mean it sexually.

To both you and Bluejay7622, the issue then is making rules based on "age".
You can't do/say specific things to the 13-17 years olds legitimately on this website, but you can with everyone else?
The solution then is to make the website 18+. This prevents any child being harmed.
i'm sorry that people are discrediting your stories. people always want to defend the perpetrator and so rarely work to help the victim, but just know that you are heard and you're doing a great thing
AustinRules6969 If his complaint was people in general need to stop using tenaged as if it were a dating site thus he doesn't want to be hit on period I would say Amen to that thus myself I don't come here to be hit on but to play games and chat with friends etc. He is using the word Pedophile which is a CHILD molester and he himself is not a child thus isn't a victim of child molestation plus this all happens on Skype, snapchat etc thus nothing tengaged can do to protect him from it...I know 16-17 still considered a minor but my Nephew was 16 when he met a 32 year old and due to age of consent all my Sister could do legally was frown and now he is married to the woman and has 2 kids with her. The law does not view her as a Pedophile thus he had gone through puberty nor a predator because of age of consent and since this is happening on other social platforms like Skype he would have to ask those platforms to have rules not tengaged, I'm not friends with any of the accused but it irritates me when people misuse the word pedophile. When I was 16-17 and got hit on by much older men it made me uncomfortable and when in my 20's and got hit on by 50 year olds at the bar..guess what still made me uncomfortable, there's always going to be perverts in the world, tengaged allows me to filter someone if they send me unwanted advances and I have filtered people here for it
