Some people have been saying this site is boring or that there is nothing good about this site.
I think sometimes it depends on your connections here. I know there are some people I have tried to connect with who make little to no effort in becoming or remaining friends which of course is understandable because some people just don’t click. At the same time, there have been a lot of amazing people that I have found a great connection with, some of the most unlikely people too, who I hope to remain friends with for a long time. I think there are a lot of factors that go into it, age being a massive one but also what people want to get out of this site. I am interested in people’s differences and their genuine opinions rather than what level they are, what their avatar looks like or how many games they have won. I really enjoy castings because I love getting to know people and being able to offer ideas, advice and opinions that might be truly helpful for them.
Then there is all the crap that goes on with unsavoury people and it certainly makes me sad that this happens. I really hope by being here for someone who needs to talk or to support someone when they are being bullied, that it empowers them and others to stand up for themselves and not make bad decisions. Sorry this is a novel but I thought it was interesting when people say this place is boring. Certainly it can be at some times of the day but for the most part I have found so many people who make me laugh and smile and who can hold a genuine conversation so I guess I disagree ❤️
I like this post, there are definitely people on here that I really like a lot which help me keep coming back. A lot of my online friends came from here and without this website I wouldn't have met them. You are right that some people do not want to make new friends (which is fine), but some people are really mean and exclusive for no reason.
There is a lot of toxicity from this place that makes me really sad. I guess that's what comes from a website where the sole purpose is to win by voting people out but I wish people would be nicer. Regarding your comments about age, I can definitely tell who's younger and who are older just by the way they act on here haha. I used to be the same way when I was younger yelling at people and getting mad over stupid shit (albeit I definitely don't think it was to the extreme of some of these people....). As long as someone can find people on here they call friends I think they will do alright. We definitely should work harder as a community to be nicer and less toxic. I don't understand all of the racist actions people take on here or all of the awful things people do on here to try and ruin each other's lives. It's really disheartening to see people act like this when I know they are better than that.
You are definitely one of the most positive and friendliest person I have met on here in my 10 years! I have made a lot of friends over the years and while we don't know each other super well I plus/try to comment on all of your blogs because you are always have something interesting to say and are always so cheerful! Dang time zones >:(

Good people like u exist in this site and is prob what makes me still be here :) Also the games, i love fastings lol

like you said it's just about who you click with, etc. but just because you don't necessarily click with someone doesn't mean there should be nastiness! (unless of course they deserve it... hehe)
Just keep in mind that there are going to be a lot of people who create/get involved with drama for fun, as you can expect at a gathering place for competitive reality television fans
as long as you find the right people who don't take themselves too seriously you'll make good friends! I've been here for 10 years and talk to friends from here every day. The community here is very unique, for better or worse
