I just wanted to say Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to everyone. I know it’s early for everyone but for me it is Christmas Day so you all get best wishes and gratitude early from me!
Where has this year taken you? I hope it has taken you to a place that is better than you were in last year. That you have improved, in some way, no matter how slight. I know so many of you who are getting that new apartment or house, finding your way to a different job, studying, parenting your children, winning that game, leveling up, falling in love, realising you are more than what someone says about you, gaining friends and cutting ties with others for good reason, reconnecting with family who may have lost touch or forgiving someone. All of these things are steps forward and I love to hear the successes you all find in your lives.
What amazes me constantly is the good fortune I have to connect with some very genuine people on this site. As toxic as the site can be, I’ve connected with people whom I would dearly miss if I didn’t get to catch up with on a daily/weekly basis. And I hope that everyone on the site has people they feel this way about!
I honestly hope you all have a wonderful and safe Christmas and for those who don’t celebrate Christmas, I hope you still get to enjoy some time with family and friends over the holiday season.
