Um after dealing with some serious personal issues, I kind of needed to take some time for myself to kind of collect myself and my thoughts so I'm like taking some time to look into some potential work in research or something tbh

We’ve known each other since hmm 2014, right? I think our initial interactions with each other were through blogs. I had heard a couple of things about you (like how you were funny and cool or whatever lol). But I think we formally met through one of the Skype calls. I’m pretty sure RJ/Danger was the one who had introduced us on a call LOL. I think we always had the same energy and rapport. We just ended up getting to know each other more over time. I never thought you would end up being one of the closest people to me on here

I think you’re a lot of things such as talented (I always thought it was really cool how you taught yourself how to play the guitar), cute (you have your cute moments which is nice lol), respectful/fair (you have always been pretty reasonable and diplomatic), adventurous (you’re literally traveling the world which is amazing), and some other things that I can’t discuss… You also have this calmness to you that is so peaceful. The sky could be falling but you will just stay calm and will remain chill. I have always admired that quality in you

I like that I can pretty much bug you or bombard you and just talk to you about anything. You don’t care. You’ll just listen and be like, “go on lass” I still remember the times when I think I was telling you about biochemistry, complaining about misplacing jewelry or getting terrorized by a spider/bug :x I’m sure you probably wanted to tell me to shut up so many times LOL. But you have always been optimistic, fun, and supportive (you have also been my tech support for years LOL) towards me. But you already know what I think about you. I hope you enjoyed this essay ROFL I want an opinion in return!!!

If so, which season did you like the best and the worst?

So Big Brother used to be one of my favorite shows when I was a little girl (I was like idk 9 or 10 when I first started watching lol). So I was/am a huge fan of the older seasons. One of my all-time favorite seasons is Big Brother All-Stars/Season 7. There were so many entertaining and strategic houseguests that season :)

Least Favorite Season would probably have to be BB15. The one that had Aaryn and Gina Marie because of their racially insensitive comments and well overall behavior. But I have heard that there have been other seasons of big brother that have been similar. But that's the one I am most familiar with.

But after hearing about Taylor Hale. Ugh, she kind of got me excited about watching Big Brother again because idk it's nice to see someone who looks just like me not only make it to finals but actually end up winning the whole game AND America's Favorite Houseguest too

Omg... there are so many things I could say for this lol

I remember someone telling me back in school that the odds of me being able to participate in research would probably be slim to none. And well I have been involved in some research. I used to assist with research. And I'm going to be published in a few journal articles and will be participating in another research study so yeah idk that is kind of cool I guess lol

So I guess being underestimated and then proving people wrong is nice

Omg, where do I begin? LOL. I feel like we have been getting to know each other quite well. You were almost like my diary in some ways. I'm sure I turned your world upside down and you were probably like, "this chick is absolutely nuts!!!" LOL

Okay no, but on a more serious note: I always thought you were a very nice and standup guy. That still holds true even till today. It really has been nice talking to you and having some like super in-depth/real conversations. Idk about you, but I feel like our friendship has gotten a lot stronger. And I am really glad to call you my friend haha :)

Hmm idk if I have a favorite series atm, BUT a series that I just finished watching was the "Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story" on Netflix. The acting in it was absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend the show. But I would say that people should be cautious and wary when watching it because it is pretty dark and there are some disturbing scenes :(

I LOVE asian cuisine like ugh... I could eat that all the time and seafood/shellfish, like yes!!!!

Hmm idk where to begin but I think that I will start with the interview you had with 2388 lol. I remember as I was listening to the podcast/interview, I was thinking to myself, "this is literally the Devon I have always known." And I really mean that too. I feel bad to people who are missing out on getting to know (because of past beef or drama) the real you because the real you is clever, funny, entertaining, incredibly loyal (almost to a fault), outspoken yes (but misunderstood), with so much potential. I don't even think you realize how much you have to offer because I think sometimes people (unfortunately) get into your head sometimes and cause you to question and doubt yourself. But I'm glad that you are rediscovering yourself, finding inner peace, and learning how to live for yourself and to let go of things for your own sake and mental health. I want you to be happy and to succeed, not for me or for anyone else, but for you. Ily

3 Favorite songs rn: hmm I guess it is a mix of a bit of current music and older music like idk lol. But usually when I am trying to clean up my apartment or driving in my car, I listen to these: Dua Lipa’s “Levitating” (it’s catchy like idk LOL), Tupac’s “California Love” (I just love this song), and Simply Red’s “Sunrise” (such a bop)

Favorite tengaged game: hands down, it has to be frookies!!! (I’m still addicted ugh lol)

Favorite food: seafood and asian cuisine :)

Very good question, hmm honestly, I wish I could have completed volunteer training sooner so that I could help out at a hospital. But now volunteering has been suspended momentarily because of COVID

The next thing would be trying to get in touch with a few residents just to get their advice and tips about residency, clinic, externships, etc lol
