(Love the book btw) Anthony Marston was a dashing and good looking guy. However, he was very arrogant and felt no remorse for the murders he committed. For this photo I wanted to embody the dashing and wealthy look of Anthony while conveying a look of arrogance (I have not commuted any murders, however)

For this shot i'm representing the time He was doing forced work and he was caught. Then he realises the world isnt far.

I chose this shot because of the reasons below

PHYSICALITY(in many forms)Judas Ben-Hur is strong, and when feats of physical endurance are required, he is ready to face the most harrowing of obstacles, just like my shot you can see that my facial expression gives a guy that’s tough as bones and that has a strength to him which is clear to see

PERSONALITY(internal and external)heroic, loving, and charitable. Judah is not the kind of prince whose wealth and power have gone to his head. Rather, he's benevolent and warm, caring sincerely for all his people and with my shot you will see the heroism in my face , the caring nature I have and you will see that underneath the thought exterior there’s a human being in there that actually gives a damn

TENACITY AND SURVIVAL- He has to survive the life of a slave in order to regain his rightful place, the similarities here is that you can see in my shot that I too have faced some hardships in life yet I’m still here. Ben hur and my shot shows that both of us have had hard times but being resourceful and never giving up has maybe left some scars(internal and external) but both of us made it out of the darkness and into the light

So to summarise lol😂 many of the personality traits(generosity,caring,love,kindness) I share in my shot ...it might not look like it but if u look closed you will see the eyes say it subtly ...there is also that strength we both have that’s very evident as well as seeing that we both have indeed faced obstacles when looking at my face

(I also read since I’m a Christian how important the story of Ben-Hur is to us as it’s a sort of allegory basically showing the life of jesus to us )

my depiction for this character relied on his initial conservative and strong-willed nature, as well as his desire to uncover the hidden treasure within the pyramids of egypt. i believe there are also existing elements within his shot that include the conclusion of his arc in the novel, involving connection with the sun, wind, and a godly figure.

Sui He as Holden Caulfield (The Catcher in the Rye)

Holden Caulfield is naive and at the same time resentful of the adult world. One of Holden's most striking and quintessential qualities is his powerful revulsion for "phony" qualities, a catch-all term for the perceived hypocrisy that irritates Holden. It is this cynicism that causes him to distance himself from other people, despite wanting connection as well.

In this photo, I want to portray the naive Holden which you can see in the curious eyes and the resentful Holden through the nonchalant drinking action.

The story of Jane Eyre follows a centric narrative upon the journey of a middle class woman through her adolescent years and adulthood. The book included narratives focusing upon religion, sexuality and gender something which I believe is heavily focused in this photo, which creates a paradox using my fellow model (Diandra Forrest) emphasising the key issues shown in the book alongside focusing upon key themes in modern society.
