In a fantasy world, let's say that the next season is Champions vs. Challengers.... what would that cast look like? First, we need 8 winners.
Cody, Josh, Steve, Derrick, Andy, Hayden, Dan, Adam, and Will are the male winners I could see feasibly being eligible to return.
Kaycee, Rachel, Jordan, Maggie, and Lisa are the female winners I could see feasibly being eligible to return.
If they can get Derrick, Dan, and Will they absolutely will, which leaves us with 1 more spot. I think they take Josh here, because they do now have a 50% PoC quota to reach, so as many POC winners they can include, they'll take. If one of Derrick/Dan/Will does not return, I think they pick Cody to replace them.
Out of the females, again I think they take Kaycee to help meet the 50% POC quota, along with Rachel, Jordan, and Lisa.
Which brings us to our challengers, and 6 of them have to be POC. I will go through the casts and out of the bigger characters (their avg. DRs for an episode need to exceed/tie the season avg.), I will determine who would be likely to be asked to return.
For the men: Enzo, Kaysar, Cliff, Paul (who uses they/them, but I think if they casted Paul, they would then only cast 7 males), Cameron, Victor, Paulie, Jozea, John, Austin, Frankie, Donny, Zach, Devin, Dominic, Brendon, Matt, Jessie, Eric, Jase, Jason, Marcellas
For the women: Da'Vonne, Janelle, Christie, Haleigh, Kaitlyn, Jessica, Liz, Vanessa, Elissa, Britney, Danielle, Diane
Kaysar, Victor, Jozea, Devin, Dominic, Marcellas, Da'Vonne, Danielle R are the POC that I count. This means that Day and Danielle Reyes are locks for the cast, while out of the men, I think they would take Kaysar/Victor/Dominic/Marcellas. We then need two more women, so I think they'd take Vanessa for sure, and probably Janelle.
This means our male Challengers are: Kaysar, Victor, Dominic, and Marcellas
Alternates: Devin/Jozea
And our female Challengers are: Danielle, Da'Vonne, Vanessa, and Janelle
Alternates: Kaitlyn/Jessica
