Danielle Murphree aka Dan's Puppet entered the Big Brother House and was drafted onto Dans team as part of the Coaches twist.
She quickly also got into a flirtmance with Shane, which of course lead to a showmance that at least was endearing.
Unfortunately despite having a great coach, Danielle wasnt necessarily the best game player.
She was always easily persuaded by Dan, seemed to make the decision he wanted her to when she had power and overall just didnt seem to have a good strategic side.
What she could definitely do though is win competitions. She won 2 HOHs and 2 Vetos during the season.
What i just actually realized when i did a quick search was that she was also nominated 6 times which is actually impressive even if she was a part of the seasons dominate alliance.
She also very well could have and perhaps should have been taken out in week 2 which of course would have swept Dan out of the house with her.
If I were a houseguest in there i would have pushed for it, but as a fan and watcher I have to be glad it didnt happen.
The biggest mistake Danielle made was allowing Dan to persuade her one last time at the final 4.
During this week she had all the power and could easily have kept her nominations the same, and because Shane didnt have much of a backstabbing nature Dan still likely would have stayed.
However Dan sharpened his blade and aimed his sights on the showmance. At the time he had a final 2 with Danielle and Ian. He knew if he could get Shane out he was more or less guarenteed a final 2 spot.
So Dan got in her head one last time by convincing her that she should veto him and put up Shane. He promised her he would evict Ian but that was never going to happen.
She then brought this up to Shane and I cant believe he wasnt pissed about this and how easy it was for her to convince him. If I was Shane I would've been livid and i would have made sure that didnt happen.
Either way, she went through with Dans plan which basically meant she went from about a close to 100% chance of being in the final 2 to probably more like 33-50% chance (Not sure if Dan takes her).
Danielle was then promptly evicted in 3rd place after Ian, who she could have gotten rid of evicted her.
Danielle was not a very good Big Brother player but the way Dan controlled her made for good TV
