Dan the GOAT Gheesling entered the Big Brother 14 house as a coach as part of the Coachs twist.
Going into this season i would have said Will is the greatest player to ever do it, however this is where in my opinion Dan became the Big Brother GOAT
Dan however had a rough start.
First of all, his team lost the first competition and Dan had to vote out one of his players on night one. Poor Jody
After this because everyone hated WIllie they decided to evict one of his other players over Frank. Bye Kara.
Dan lost both his players during the first week. He then nearly lost his last player the next week but thankfully everyone evicted Jojo.
I've heard Dan is a good football coach. Maybe stick to football Dan.
The next week is where everything began to be turned around. On the next "eviction night" all the coaches were given the option to enter the game or not.
If any coach decided they wanted to enter then they all would enter the game and the eviction would be cancelled.
Of the four coaches only Mike voted not to enter the house so they entered and went to the famous wall HOH comp.
That next week Danielle who was Dans final player won the HOH which meant he was as good as safe because she was basically in his back pocket.
Dan along with the coaches at first looked to work together but there were cracks in the foundation. This was that Janelle and Mike really didnt care for each other.
Mike would end up wanting to backdoor Janelle. Dan would make Janelle an offer saying they would use the veto and put up Joe instead. Janelle however refused to answer which is when Dan realized the coaches working together was unrealistic.
Dan then joined an alliance with Mike, Britney, Frank, Shane, Danielle called the Silent Six and the plan to take out Janelle was executed.
The next week there was a strong push from a few to backdoor Dan. Also I believe it was the week when the Quack Pack formed (may have been one more week later).
Frank didnt go through with the plan. Shane would win the next HOH and go against the Silent Six in favor of the Quack Pack. Boogie and Frank would begin to give Dan heat for being put up believing he was the mastermind.
Him taking this heat perhaps was one of the reasons why Ian would end up being super loyal to Dan later on. This is because it was Ian who masterminded the plan that week to take out Boogie.
The next week after what was a Double eviction to get rid of Boogie and Ashley, was probably the greatest week of Big Brother of all time.
Frank won the HOH and set his sights on Dan and wanted him out more than anything. Jenn would end up winning the veto and it seemed like Dan was pretty much as good as gone.
As part of the veto competition Dan would receive the punishment of 24 hours in solitary confinement.
This is where Dan spun a plan in order to keep him safe. He came up with an elaborate plan in order to get himself out of the corner he was backed into.
Step one of the plan was basically the iconic segment in the shows history where Dan hosted his own funeral.
He complimented everyone including Frank who he knew wanted him out bad and ended it by saying to his #1 ally that she broke his trust and she knew what she did wrong to him but he didnt want to get into it.
He then went up to the HOH room and blew up the Quack Pack to Frank. Frank was actually more surprised than he should have been as i think he trusted Shane a bit.
After this he made a deal with Frank to work with him and Jenn along with Danielle.
They took the bait and Jenn would use the veto on him and Britney would go home!
An incredible turn around that to me helps solidify his GOAT status.
He later in the game showed he had no problem stabbing Quack Pack members in the back. During the second double for instance he would debate taking out both Ian and Shane.
Dan was an absolute master manipulator of Danielle as just hours after his "funeral" he had her back on his side.
He would also later ask her to use the veto on him at the final 4 promising he would keep Shane, just to of course evict Shane in what was perhaps the craziest blindside of all time.
Then she still wanted to take him to the end? LOL
Dan had a way to make people go from wanting to go after him to go back to being on his side in just moments that many refer to as Dans mist.
Dan should have won this season as he was very obviously the best player that season. Strategically he was leaps and bounds ahead and he even won some competitions as well.
