IAN TERRY BB14

Mar 15, 2023 by ryguy1997
Ian entered the Big Brother house a huge super fan and was drafted onto the team of a player who he grew up watching, Mike Boogie as part of the coaches twist.

Before even getting into his game i just want to put out there that I really loved and appreciated how much Ian was there for the experience along with playing the game.

He wanted to go on slop among other things just because its part of the Big Brother experience.

Also i do want to say that despite Dan deserving the win this season, I think Ian is still a phenomenal winner!

Ian was unfortunately a bit of an outcast during the first week to the extent where if Mike hadnt won the Coaches Comp giving Ian safety theres a good chance that he could have gone week 1.

Ian then began to find a bit more social footing in the game, partially because he had the ability to kick himself in the face of course.

During the first few weeks he went on a date with Ashley, volunteered to be a have not and built stronger bonds with others in the house.

One thing i found really interesting early on as well, though its not super clear if it helped that much was that the reason he would volunteer to be a have not was to be on everyones good side to keep him safe.

Ian joined the Silent Six alliance during the week after the reset, and then later joined the most dominant alliance of the season, the Quack Pack.

The formation of the Quack Pack also ended up being basically the beginning of Ian getting out his former coach and player he looked up to, Mike Boogie.

Ian made sure that his Quack Pack alliance saw how important it was to get rid of Boogie, but even when Boogie and Frank were on the block neither thought it had an ounce to do with Ian.

This was because of his ability to seem innocent and very loyal while stabbing them in the back.

Ian would end up telling Mike that he wasnt going to like what he would see on his way out of the house, Mike looked at Frank and told him not to trust Ian and then Ian made an awesome reference to Boogie during BB Allstars when he told him to get to steppin.

In Ians goodbye messages he revealed the Quack Pack and that he was behind Boogies demise.

He would later have a blow up with Frank on the matter.

During the Double Eviction that followed he would win his first HOH and ended up sending home his little crush Ashley.

After this was the iconic Dans funeral week where honestly Ian could have gone had he not won veto ball.

He then kept winning competitions including an awesome one during the second double when his life was on the line.

In total he won 4 HOHs and 2 vetos including the final HOH to send himself into the final 2.

The only thing i would say with Ian is that he likely would have gone at the final 4 had Dan not pulled his stunt, which is so weird because for a lot of the end game Dan wanted Ian gone.

So yes Ian got a little lucky, but lots of Big Brother winners have in some way tbh.

Ian also had the guts to take Dan to the final 2 who honestly if not for a bitter jury would have beaten him, but perhaps he knew the bitterness would be there.

Ian would beat Dan by a 6-1 vote winning Big Brother 14!!

Ian was a good strategist, could win comps, and his social game honestly improved as the season progressed.

It was awesome to see him even just loving the experience and his excitement when things went his way!
