- Overall, really good season. Happy with the boot list and the overall winner.
- Loved the dynamic of the siblings in the game but am hoping to not have that again, hard to write for.
- This season was very TRISH. LOL.

ALL STAR POTENTIALS
Adam Levine, 11th Place, one of the most dominant forces in South Pacific, Adam Levine ventured to the island and quickly banded together the dominant players to advance deep into the game - - adding first returnee Parker Posey, then welcoming Courteney Cox, Nat Wolff, and Kacey Musgraves into the mix. Together, the five-some controlled the pre-merge votes, even surviving Kacey’s betrayal to banish her from the game, however, after failing to maintain an even ground with immunity wins, Adam entered the merge and for the first time, was in the minority and despite attempting to manipulate his way into the “siblings” alliance, he felt victim to a standard “Pagonging” and was unable to win his first duel, landing as jury member two.
Nat Wolff, 10th Place, the fan favorite of the game, Nat Wolff came to South Pacific and surprised many people by being a dominant challenge force in the early stages, coming in at clutch moments to win for his team. Despite this, however, he was somewhat of a floater strategically speaking in the early stages but remained loyal to his majority alliance, even when his close friend Kacey Musgraves begged him to flip; he ended up banishing her instead for showcasing disloyalty. Despite this loyalty, Nat entered the merge without numbers and even though he was able to win an immunity, he fell prey to a “Pagonging” and was unable to win his way back into the game.
Courteney Cox, 9th Place, another fan favorite in the game - - and somewhat of a fish out of water - - Courteney Cox came to the South Pacific and was thrilled to be placed on a tribe with close friend Parker Posey. Courteney vowed to ensure the two of them would reach the end stages and despite almost being banished when Kacey attempted to flip the game, she was able to ride the majority out until the merge where she, too, fell victim to a “Pagonging” and despite her attempts to find an idol as well as win a few duels, she was unable to ultimately win her way back into the game and landed in ninth place.
Alexander Skarsgård, 7th Place, one quarter of the infamous “Siblings” alliance, Alexander Skarsgård came to the South Pacific and was lucky enough to also have his brother, Bill, be playing with him. The brothers were also joined by sisters Aly and AJ Michalka and on day one, the foursome created their final four pact and they dominated the pre-merge, winning the majority of the challenges and surviving the few votes they attended, as well as the merge, picking off the minority Upolu tribe one-by-one. Alexander had plans to take Bill and Sanha to the end, as he felt the sisters were playing a far better social game, however, when Sanha stunningly played an idol on target Lance Henriksen, the brothers were blindsided and Alexander was banished to redemption island, where he lost to A$AP Rocky and became the sixth member of the jury.
A$AP Rocky, 6th Place, the breakout star of South Pacific, A$AP Rocky came in and admitted to knowing really nothing about how to play the game but wanted to experience the adventure. And he certainly had a wild adventure, forming a tight bond with Felicia Day, only to lose her on day three, and then being voted off himself only to have to fight his way back into the game, where he successfully reached the merge, still not quite understanding the concept of the game, often times getting into fights with the other castaways being unaware that he would need to sharpen his social game. Despite being voted off again, he attempted to win his way back into the game again, lasting to the final duel, however, losing to Bill Skarsgård and becoming the seventh member of the jury.
Bill Skarsgård, 4th Place, another member of the “Siblings” alliance, Bill Skarsgård came to the South Pacific and had the luxury of having his older brother, Alexander, in the game. Together, with other duo - - the Michalka sisters - - the foursome, adding in Sanha, dominated the game, winning the majority of the tribal immunities and picking the minority players off at the merge one-by-one. At the top six vote, Bill and Alexander wanted to banish Lance from the game, however, when Sanha had built a closer bond to Lance, the idol was played and Bill lost his brother and was banished shortly after and despite outlasting A$AP Rocky to return to the game and convincing the others to send jury threat Lance home over him, Bill became the final jury member when the sisters felt they would lose to him in the end.
AJ Michalka, 3rd Place, the sweetheart of the “Siblings” alliance, AJ Michalka came to the South Pacific and was blessed to have her sister, Aly, on the island with her. The duo vowed to do what it took to get to the end and they even latched onto brothers Alexander and Bill Skarsgård, who called most of the shots and got the blood on their hands, however, it was Aly and AJ who orchestrated the blindside of the brothers, first by telling Sanha that Lance was the true target, then by agreeing to to to the end with Sanha, forgetting at how kind Sanha was to the jury and AJ’s game was ultimately seen as non-existent compared to the other players and she received zero votes to win in the end.
Alyson Michalka, Runner Up, the femme fatale of South Pacific, Alyson, or Aly as many call her, came out to the South Pacific and was lucky enough to not only have her sister, AJ, with her, but also another brother duo - - who Aly, as they were more physically fit, felt was good for she and AJ - - as it painted a bigger target than them on the brothers. The entire game, Aly ensured the others saw the brothers as the bigger threats than them, despite latching on to them and riding their coattails, something the jury felt both Aly and AJ did, despite manipulating the idol play at the top six as well as successfully reaching the finale with a huge target from day one on their back, however, Sanha’s game was seen as more clear cut and Aly received zero votes, despite winning immunities and orchestrating many exits.
Waaaahh! What a wild season! I would have liked to see how Bill did on his own... but hey I guess the sibling thing made this super unique. South Pacific has a special place in my heart so it was cool to see my pick go on such a journey!
