I'm talking about American Idol.
The Bottom 3 this week?
ALLISON IRAHETA
ALEXIS GRACE
MICHAEL SARVER
Michael is understandable, but Allison and Alexis?!
Those are 2 of the best girls on the show!
Why the heck are they in the bottom 3!
Allison did a great job with "Blame It On Your Heart."
Alexis sang "Jolene" and also did well.
America!
Don't assume they are safe.
VOTE!!!!!!!
If Michael doesn't get eliminated, I'll be mad. The 2 girls deserve to be there.
ALLISON IRAHETA IS SAFE
MICHAEL SARVER IS SAFE
ALEXIS GRACE WAS ELIMINATED
People, let's face it.
Alexis wasn't the superior vocalist of the season, but she should've stayed over Michael.
Grand Ole Opry Week
It was actually not that bad.
The front-runners fell and some diamonds were found in the rough.
There were some stellar performances, some that missed the mark & one that was just plain weird.
Michael Sarver opened with "Ain't Goin' Down 'Till the Sun Comes Up."
He had fun, but his vocals suffered because of it.
Allison Iraheta sang "Blame It On Your Heart."
Allison rocked it once again. She continues to become a stronger singer each week and become a bigger threat.
Kris Allen sang "To Make You Feel My Love."
It was just OK for me. I'm not a fan of his, but it was not that bad.
Lil Rounds sang "Independence Day."
Lil did a great job with this song. She toned down the R&B and honored the country in it.
Adam Lambert sang "Ring of Fire."
Strange; that is the only word that describes the performance. I like Adam, but that was just unusual.
Scott MacIntyre sang "Wild Angels."
This was a very good choice for Scott. If he would just stop going into his falsetto, he could go farther in the competition.
Alexis Grace sang "Jolene."
I loved it. She showed us her soft side and brought a new twist to a Dolly Parton song.
Danny Gokey sang "Jesus Take the Wheel."
I was not surprised by the song choice. I was surprised at how badly he did. I don't like his style, but I think any Carrie fan would be disappointed by that performance.
Anoop Desai sang "Always on My Mind."
Not a good performance at all. We knew this would be a tough week for him.
Megan Joy sang "Walkin' After Midnight."
Megan had the flu and had to go to the hospital today. Amazingly, she pulled off one of the best performances of the night. It was the perfect song choice for her.
Matt Giraud sang "So Small."
Matt did an excellent job. He brought his own twist to the song. I liked it.
MY PREDICTION
Unless Anoop has some serious fans that are calling for hours on end, I think his time in the competition may be over.
If Anoop is safe, I'll say Kris could be in trouble because it seems he has the smallest fan base.
