There is consistently that one shop Nov 29, 2022
that no one buys from with the same designs regurgitated again and again. So then close to DC the shop owner has to beg and plead for the public to buy their stuff.

I need to re-open Goth Miranda Cosgrove and save shops tbh...

My main problem with Disenchanted Nov 21, 2022
Is the fact after Giselle makes her wish just everyone we've met up to this point and any characterization we've learned are thrown out the window in replacement for these heightened fairy tale personas. It makes the middle of the movie feel like a total restart and the progression of story is halted to relearn and remeet all the characters we've gotten to know within the first half hour or so of the movie because they all have new roles in this world.

We only have Giselle to identify with who has her own problems going with the spell turning her into the wicked stepmother archetype which is a great idea but I feel like the execution was a bit strange. Why did everyone else change so fast and it took Giselle & Pip so long to have this personality switch?

What I think they've should of done to kind of strengthen the core of this movie is have Morgan (who we are supposed to root for and identify with as being the movies main savior) remain unaffected by this curse. They had her sneak out back to NYC and come home and cause the main conflict which lead to Giselle using the wishing wand. This could've been switched up by making the fight happen before she runs off. Say she comes home from school mad, they fight, and she runs off to NYC to stay the night at a friends house to cool off. She comes back home the next day to be confused by this new strange fairytale world. She is the only "normal" person who is confused by everything happening and is instantly berated and treated terribly by her "wicked stepmother" Giselle who is still rivaling Malvina for a main power position of Monrolasia to be the biggest bad (Badder is the only song that come close to being on par with any song from the first movie.).

Everything can stay the same except pretty much that Morgan gets explained what happened by the scroll when she is like "wtf whats going on here" and that sets Morgan out on her way to try to find magical help by seeking her way to Andalasia getting help from Nancy and Edward.

Also like... get rid of the baby. What did the baby have to do with anything? It served absolutely no plot. Or at least age it up and have it be favored and a little devil in training by Giselle. Have Morgan and the kid be close or something near the start of the movie and then once it goes into fairy tell world you have the kid turn against her. If this movie takes place 10 years after the first you mean to tell me Giselle and Robert waited nearly 9 years to have a kid? I just dont see it. Also like.. What the hell was Roberts story this movie? He just wanted a new start, commuted once and decided he hated it, and then.... just wanted to go on quests? Like Malvina has her two minions. Just make Robert a meek servent of Giselle since the start of the movie is just him doing whatever she wants like uprooting him and his kids life.

Idk that being said pretty good movie do recommend
