I was scrolling through Facebook earlier today and several of my friends had shared this petition and story of getting justice for two dogs that were videoed getting run over by a woman driving. Well the video autoplayed and I can’t UNSEE it.
That was hours ago and it keeps resurfacing in my mind — this image of two sweet, innocent pups getting run over by a car and one limping around after, checking out his hind legs and wondering what he did to deserve that. 😢😢
my heart feels broken. My stomach is in knots. I came home from work and have been cuddling with my pups ever since. Animal cruelty is horrible. I just can’t believe there’s people out there that do things like that and think it’s ok.
I feel that video should have been sensored. I realize it’s my fault for having whatever setting turned on for autoplay, but DAMN. Why would anyone want to see that? The post was for a good cause but why did that have to be included? I’m just sad. And I wish I could help all the animals in need of loving homes and families. I wish I could wave a magic wand and protect them all.
Anyway, be kind to your pets. Be kind to each other. Sad things go away 💔
