So I've been banned for the second time, for 24 hours, for cheating.
I've also heard that some players on Tengaged can ban users at will if they so choose: they are the Mods.
This brings to mind so many questions and issues, but I just want to talk about a few that pervades this site:
First of all, if you are going to have the power to ban people, then it is only right that you stop playing the games and be fair and unbiased. You need to remove all your friends and you need to stop writing blogs and earning $T from the support of Tengaged users. If you do so, then you no longer become fair because you cannot deny not having favourites and people you support. That could probably mean that people who spam, cheat, insult, flame or abuse other users can get away scot free, as long as they are plussing all your blogs and supporting everything you say.
Second of all, if you had all the proof and evidence you needed, why slap me with a 7 day ban the first time, and then a 24 hour ban this time? Why such a weak and flimsy ban? Why not give me a perm ban? The answer is simple, it is because I have never cheated, and you DO NOT have proof of me cheating. Just because I refuse to be like the rest of you, placing so much value in backstabbing and buying colours and designs and spamming blogs, does not mean it is right to pick on me. Just because you are friends with people like Etienne, does not give you the right to ban me at your whim and fancy.
But you do it anyway. The proof is in the pudding, you guys said I was banned for cheating once, so I am assuming you fixed whatever flaw that you think I have exploited to win my games. In fact, I'm assuming you gave me a 7 day ban because it took you THAT long to figure out how to fix it. And then I came back, and then I played, and I won 2 more times, and then I got banned again, this time for 24 hours. Did I find another loophole and exploit it? And if I did, why don't just give me a permanent ban? What does this say about the people who run Tengaged as a whole? Are you going to keep banning me so that I will lose a few more castings and have a record like the rest of you? Is that the intention of your mods? Is that what you want? Can you really not be happy for those who do better than you?
I am appalled by the mob mentality that exists. To think that mods should set good examples of what it means to be part of a community as varied as Tengaged, people from all races, all backgrounds, all sexualities and with different principles and ideals play the game. You can spam, you can lie, you can be dishonest, you can backstab and you can flame people as much as you want (as long as you are friends with the mod). How does everything that you do, be any worst than cheating? How does cursing someone's mother a whore or wishing that another player's family all gets cancer and die, be better than using an autoclicker?
I've heard people having to prove themselves that they aren't cheating and they even have had to record themselves playing competitions. What is the next step for Tengaged? Should Tengaged install spyware on all their users computers so they can track and trace everyone's moves and ensure that they aren't using Autoclickers?
At the end of the day, this is just another website. It is a crappy website because it is run by biased people who ban people just because they can and label them "cheaters" just because they don't understand how someone can keep winning. It doesn't ALWAYS have to be cheating. I've never cheated on this site, in fact, I’ve never heard of autoclickers until I was banned from this game. I rely on good competition scores, and good strategy and gamesmanship. People who have been my allies and who have worked with me, will tell you how we did it, and how we won.
I guess for such a crappy website, I've gotten a handful of very close friends. We've become facebook friends, we have emails, and I even have contact numbers of some who live in Australia. How many of you have friends you can trust like that? And I haven't even been here for 2 months. To those who do have friends like that, cherish them, and keep in touch with them. Never let a stupid website that brought you guys so close together, tear you apart, because it just ain't worth it. This website probably wouldn't even matter to you 10 or 20 years down the road. But the friends that you make will, if you make the effort to keep it strong.
I've said in my very first blog post I said that I wasn't sure if I will fade away or go out fighting. Well, this is me, going out fighting. And if people find that the only way to beat a good player is to keep banning them, then this is me shining as much as I can. I would keep playing, but this seriously is just too fucked up for me to continue.
To all those who've played and worked with me, you know my heart. I love you guys and wish the best in everything you do. Tengaged will never be as good as it will be, because the best players are forced to leave so that the standard will remain low. And remember what I always say, real life comes first above all, so don't get lost in this website.
To all those who haven't gotten to know me and judged me all the same, like the very same way you judge many others without knowing them, I hope you realise that your ugliness is never going to make this world a better place. And at this rate the world is going down, you guys are only helping make matters worse. And the world will never be a better place if you guys keep thinking the way that you do.
Strange how I filtered you from my profile, yet still you are here talking on this blog. Well done Jubbzy for being a mod, you get to have your power and bully the weak, and have your say even when they try to filter you. What is the purpose of the filter function if it selectively chooses who to block? But that isn't something new to you, I am sure.
So you ban me just to get me to play Rookies? NoelSarah I have seen your blog about my ban. You may be a mod but you are not a nice person at all. But that's alright, people will still show that they love you, just like how they love Jubbzy, but it definitely isn't because of your wit and humour or strength of character.
Lollll I'm a perfectly nice person, just there is NOTHING i despise more on this site than cheating. I don't know you and I actually felt bad for you when people were giving you a hard time for winning a lot. But cheating pisses me off. So whatev, see ya (probably on your next multi)!
I was once a supporter of you imiquimod, cuz I respect someone with a great record and I know how it feels to be targeted just because you excel at something.
From my experience I have felt at times mods make biased decisions on bans... but thats when scenarios walk a grey line and it is up to their discretion (usually involving drama on who said what). No one is ever banned because they heard they cheat. If you cheat it is not an unwarranted ban, they do have proof.
I do not understand the fun of an automatic win.
You seem like an interesting character on tengaged and I feel like you should continue playing but try a different game where if you truly feel like you don't cheat you can prove to the rest of the community.
Bottom line though, no ban is just through hearsay so you had to deserve it.
+8 You are so RIGHT imi! And I agree with you in every bit of this blog, this game is most definetly biased. Yet it is strangely addictive at the same time. I didn't know whether or not to believe that you haven't cheated before you posted this blog, but now I most definetly do. It's a shame you're leaving, but I will probably be doing the same sometime soon as it is only the friends on this site that are keeping me here. Good luck in your future with your career as a doctor etc :)
It's sad to see you leave, you were my favorite person on Tengaged and I agree with everything you said in this Blog, Tengaged is biased.
I also left Tengaged a couple of weeks ago because I lost interest in Castings and posting Blogs became pointless but was still reading your Blogs with interest and when you posted this Blog I had to comment.
