I would like to try conveying some ideas across using a quote. If anyone of you have read Kant, then i think you'd be familiar with this:
"Seek not the favor of the multitude; it is seldom got by honest and lawful means. But seek the testimony of few; and number not voices, but weigh them." -Immanuel Kant
Let me break it down:
1. "seek not the favor of the multitude; it is seldom got by honest and lawful means"
I have never sought out fame or popularity. I never blogged about my wins, I have never gone around the tengaged world attempting to be noticed. But from the look of blogs in the past 48 hours, others have already used me to their advantage. If they have used me and gained attention successfully, then they would have to exaggerate or fudge details with the intention to deceive and encourage misunderstanding. Afterall, what better way is there to draw attention that they do not deserve?
2. "seek the testimony of few"
self-explanatory. But more so often, the voices of the few are drowned out by the multitude and the ones that have the loudest voices.
3. "and number not voices, but weigh them."
Weigh them carefully. Question yourselves why they are posting what they are posting. And what they intend to achieve. Is it just to incite hatred? Is it to become popular at someone else's expense? Or is it to expose the truth? Is it really the truth? Am i REALLY a robot?
Finally, in the words of Albert Einstein, "Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds. The mediocre mind is incapable of understanding the man who refuses to bow blindly to conventional prejudices and chooses instead to express his opinions courageously and honestly."
I have expressed myself honestly. The fact is, the truth is boring. And if the truth is not enough, so be it.
Best,
Tristan

Well spoken and the jealous people will neg.
Correct. Truth is boring. But truth is truth and everyone must deal with it.
I didn't delete it on purpose jenani. I reposted the blog because I noticed some errors in my grammar! lol Feel free to put the Talking Heads song quote, I actually love the song! :DD
Oh if you insist..... lol
ONCE IN A LIFETIME
Songwriters: Eno, Brian;Harrison, Jerry;Byrne, David;Weymouth, Tina;Frantz, Chris
You may find yourself living in a shotgun shack
You may find yourself in another part of the world
You may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile
You may find yourself in a beautiful house, with a beautiful wife
You may ask yourself: well... how did I get here?
Letting the days go by/let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by/water flowing underground
Into the blue again/after the money's gone
Once in a lifetime/water flowing underground
You may ask yourself
How do I work this?
You may ask yourself
Where is that large automobile?
You may tell yourself
This is not my beautiful house!
You may tell yourself
This is not my beautiful wife!
Letting the days go by/let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by/water flowing underground
Into the blue again/after the money's gone
Once in a lifetime/water flowing underground
Same as it ever was... Same as it ever was...
Same as it ever was... Same as it ever was...
Same as it ever was... Same as it ever was...
Same as it ever was... Same as it ever was...
Water dissolving... and water removing
There is water... at the bottom of the ocean
Remove the water
Carry the water
Remove the water from the bottom of the ocean
Letting the days go by/let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by/water flowing underground
Into the blue again/after the money's gone
Once in a lifetime/water flowing underground
Into the blue again/into the silent water
Under the rocks and stones/there is water underground
Letting the days go by/into the silent water
Once in a lifetime/water flowing underground
You may ask yourself
What is that beautiful house?
You may ask yourself
Where does that highway lead to?
You may ask yourself
Am I right?... Am I wrong?
You may say to yourself
My God!... what have I done?
Same as it ever was... Same as it ever was...
Same as it ever was... Same as it ever was...
Same as it ever was... Same as it ever was...
Same as it ever was... Same as it ever was...
1. "seek not the favor of the multitude; it is seldom got by honest and lawful means"
I have never sought out fame or popularity. I never blogged about my wins, I have never gone around the tengaged world attempting to be noticed.
and yet you are now, and here you are, taking full advantage with self-serving blogs! congrats
But from the look of blogs in the past 48 hours, others have already used me to their advantage.
see previous point
If they have used me and gained attention successfully, then they would have to exaggerate or fudge details with the intention to deceive and encourage misunderstanding.
SAID WHO? stop taking the imiq!innocent theory as gospel truth, because NOTHING is truth unless proven, and nothing can be proven. this whole line is pure bullshit
Afterall, what better way is there to draw attention that they do not deserve?
i'll get the obvious AFTER ALL HAS A SPACE IN THE MIDDLE thing out of the way and cut straight to the matter of it: who said they don't deserve attention? another assumption you take for granted without proof. you should be ashamed of your play thus far, to appeal to your pathos.
2. "seek the testimony of few"
self-explanatory. But more so often, the voices of the few are drowned out by the multitude and the ones that have the loudest voices.
your implication that the louder the voice the more superfluous the words is inaccurate and distasteful. once again, i'm disappointed.
3. "and number not voices, but weigh them."
Weigh them carefully. Question yourselves why they are posting what they are posting. And what they intend to achieve. Is it just to incite hatred? Is it to become popular at someone else's expense? Or is it to expose the truth? Is it really the truth? Am i REALLY a robot?
this is another load of tripe. there is NO counter-attack on your part, just an implication that they're lying. it's done beautifully, i admit, and you should be proud on your engineering abilities, but it is vacant and vacuous once the shell is peeled away, and contains no substance whatsoever.
*large quote from einstein*
once again, more implications. it means nothing without taking on the accusations head on, and without that, this whole blog is a waste of data and contains no content.
I have expressed myself honestly. The fact is, the truth is boring. And if the truth is not enough, so be it.
let's summarize here. you've expressed NOTHING but implications designed to manipulate the reader into siding with you. HOW IS THAT HONEST
so, i guess what i'm trying to get at is that you're very good at this, but you need to actually start saying something before you speak! :)
Just because you took the time and effort to "politely" reply, I shall discuss your input point for point:
1.
If this is the case, then why assume I'm a robot? Why assume that I have taken ALL the keys (according to Etienne) if we don't know the number of key EVERYONE has? Why assume that I have a hacking cheat-code into the game? If no one can prove anything, then it is words against words, they cancel out, and we are back to square one.
2.
Unfortunately, in today's society, the voice of reason is buried amongst the tabloids and paparazzi. People turn to magazines and gossip newspapers because they are a lot "louder" than the decent newspapers. By "louder", I mean they are more sensationalistic (while not being necessarily true), have more shocking pictures (even if it means having paparazzi climb a a tree to take picture of the victim in their backyard). By louder I mean talk show hosts who snipe at others based on flimsy reports of what has happened. By louder I mean radio-deejays who sit in the comfort of their studios criticising the actions of people that they don't know well enough to understand their position and circumstance.
3.
You have effectively contradicted your first point: if anything can't be proven, why bother counter-attacking?
I didn't write this blog to incite a fight. But to be understood, thankfully my message has gotten through. I don't expect it to get through to everyone, you included if this should be the case!
In fact, let me add by saying it is the prejudice against newbies that is the very basis of all this noise. Why can't a white level do well? Why can't we be happy and supportive of our new players, and encourage them to do well in the games?
I guess it is all the more reason not to upgrade in colours If putting on colours only mean becoming more insecure with your sense of self-worth then I would much rather remain amongst the newbies. And when I win, I am humbled to be able to inspire new players that it isn't impossible to win others who are more experienced in the game.
This discussion ends here. If you wish to say more, please join the hype and start a blog.

(sorry didn't mean to delete your post from The Red something, I thought that deleting it could make space for this comment. I guess it's just the word limit in play. Feel free to post that back if you must :) )
