Having lost a relative and also a work friend to suicide, I've signed up with some of my work colleagues to do the "push up challenge". We each have to do a total of 3249 push ups for the 3249 lives lost to suicide each year, over a 24 day period from 5 June - 28 June. Our team is hoping to raise $1,000 for a non-profit 24/7 mental health support phone line we have here in Australia. We have already raised $350!
Doing approx. 52 push ups a day is something so small in the scheme of things, however I just want to let Tengaged know that I am always here and my dm's are always open if you ever need someone to talk to 💖
That only applies to certain people so don't say ur dms are open cause they aren't. And u damn well know it. Also perhaps the 22 a day would be a great challenge as that supports military folks as theirs 22 men and women from the military that committed suicide daily. So maybe try to make a difference daily rather than just a short couple of weeks
