I did this series back in 2021 and really enjoyed it so I'm restarting. In this blog series, I'm going to go through all 36 Eurovision Entries for this year and give my thoughts & opinions on the song, potential staging for Eurovision, and how I think it will do in the contest. I will be also be ranking the competing acts.

๐จ๏ธ: Now I was really excited when I heard there was the potentiality that Electric Fields were gonna represent Australia. I LOVEDD 1000 and Whatever. Then.. they dropped this song. It's fine, there's nothing wrong with it, and I definitely enjoy some of the sounds and production within the song. I just don't get excited when this comes on and I find the song quite boring I can't lie. It does also feel very cheap and won't entertain me on the night. Just a forgettable song that I would sadly skip if it came on my rotation
๐: I sadly think this will nq from Semi Final 2. I just don't think it has enough energy or momentum to send it through to the final. We will have to see the staging in May but I don't think the staging can save the song. I do think Australia is DOA.
MY RANKINGS (3/36)
1. ๐ฆ๐ฒ Armenia - Ladaniva "Jako'
2. ๐ฆ๐บ Australia - Electric Fields 'One Mikali (One Blood)
3. ๐ฆ๐ฑ Albania - Besa Kokedhima "TiTAN'

๐จ๏ธ: I am IN LOVE with Armenia's song this year. They have sent duo Ladaniva who brings us an energetic bundle of fun that really doesn't fail to put me in a good mood. Easily the most ethnic song in this year's contest and the whole vibe and energy the duo gives off is so infectious. It doesn't feel messy at all and despite the criticisms of repetitiveness, it doesn't subtract from the joy I feel when this comes on my Spotify. This will instantly be a Eurovision classic live and I'm so excited to see what they have to offer.
๐: This will be a Televote magnet so I have no concerns whatsoever for it to qualify from the Semi-Final. I also have a strong suspicion that this song will get top 10. It's just the kind of song that does well and attracts a lot of attention. It's different, it's memorable and it will get a lot of people talking. I'm very confident that this song will do well and we'll wait a month to find out whether or not I'm correct!

๐จ๏ธ: Albania oh no! What have you done?! Albania is one of my favourite countries at Eurovision - in particular Jonida Maliqi's 2019 entry 'Ktheju Tokes' which was actually my favourite entry of 2019 and also 'Duje' last year really grew on me, so I have a very special spot for Albania. However, I can't believe how disappointing this is. The NF didn't give us many options, but I really liked Luan's song which would've been a really unique sound to bring to the contest. TiTAN is just very bland and forgettable, her vocals aren't anything special and just repeats the same old formula that Albania have stuck with for so long. There's nothing original about this and it just falls flat. I will admit I did enjoy the song when it was in Albanian - it had some personality at least. The English version is just avoid of any personality whatsoever, really disappointed with Albania this year.
๐: This is a definite Non-qualifier. Not only is it going 2nd in the running order in Semi Final 2, it is followed by Greece and Switzerland - two major favourites in the contest. The final nail in the coffin is the semi not having a jury vote, which would have saved this song the tiniest amount. I can't see anyone wanting to pick their phone up and pay money to vote for this. It will just be forgotten where it belongs.

Albania currently holds the top spot, but I can guarantee it will not stay there. Next is Armenia.
