-Day 1-
*camera pans in to reveal Jeff Probst flying in a helicopter over two boats with ten castaways on each*

Jeff: We are flying over the waters of the Mamanuca Islands of Fiji, a place once known for it’s cannibalism, uncharted reefs, and formidable warriors. These islands are home to spectacular sealife, and lush jagged terrain. Just below are twenty strangers, all from different walks of life. Among them, we have a schoolteacher..

Melanie (confessional): I’ve been preparing for this game all of my life. I’m ready to dive into the thick of it. Let’s go!

Jeff: …a lifeguard…

Dania (confessional): Being a lifeguard, I’m used to putting others before myself. But now I’m on Survivor. And it’s all about me. I’m ready to play.

Jeff: …a bartender…

Redmond (confessional): My name is Joseph, but I go by Redmond. It’s weird, I know, how do I pull Redmond from Joseph, but it’s family name and I’m here for my family. I wouldn’t be going out here if I wasn’t going to represent them well. Bring it on!

Jeff: …a museum curator…

Nixon (confessional): My name is Nixon. Yes, like President Nixon. Spelled the same and everything. I’m used to working for other people and doing a damn good job of it, but now it’s my turn to call the shots. I’m ready to win.

Jeff: …and a corporate manager.

Jonathan (confessional): I’m used to things going my way, and it’s going to be tough for a couple of days without any control, but I’ll find a way to get it. I always do.

Jeff: It is here where these castaways will be left to fend for themselves with nothing but the clothes on their backs for the this season of Survivor. They must learn to adapt, or they’ll be voted out of the tribe. In the end, only one will remain to claim the title of Sole Survivor. 39 days! 20 People! 1 Survivor!

*camera pans out to the islands*
-
Day 1: Castaways on the rafts, paddling to shore.
Shantrell (confessional): All of us are just sitting on these boats as they take us to shore. It was really cool, and really different. I never expected to be paddled into the islands I’d be stranded on! This is crazy! I’m on Survivor!

Matt (confessional): This is just awesome! I’ve been watching Survivor for years and years. I’m not afraid to admit that I’m a superfan, but the other players don’t need to know that yet. That’s gonna be my little secret.

Brooke (confessional): We finally get to shore after what feels like an eternity on those canoes or rafts or whatever, and there he is. The man himself. Jeff Probst is just waiting for us.
*the castaways jump out of the boats they arrived in and walk to a large black mat sitting right in front of Jeff Probst*

Jamar: Wow it’s you!

*castaways laugh and smile*

Nixon: This is unbelievable! *looks around*

Jeff: Hello! Welcome to Survivor Mamanuca!

Castaways: *cheer*

Jeff: It’s always exciting to begin a new season of Survivor. Guy in the front, long blond hair, how does it feel to be here right now?

Chris: The name’s Chris. Uh, it’s super exciting to be here. The adrenaline is flowing through probably everyone right now just standing here in front of you.

Jeff: Good to hear. Always good to hear. Woman with the black hair, yellow shirt. How about you?

Elanina: I’m Elanina. It feels incredible right now. I’m kinda freaking out on the inside to be honest, it’s just a culmination of the last couple of months. Everything has been leading up to this moment when we are standing in front of you.

Jeff: Awesome. Woman in the purple top, are first impressions starting to form? Just based on appearances?

Sirena: Sirena’s the name. And yeah, I would say first impressions are forming. There are a lot of people here and I think we all are just sizing each other up and trying to figure out what is going to happen with the tribes.

Jeff: Man with the white and green tank top, you agree with that?

Redmond: Hi, I’m Redmond. And yeah, I would agree with that. There’s some many variables that haven’t happened yet that serious first impressions haven’t occurred yet. For me at least.
Jeff: What do you mean by that?

Redmond: Well, there’s just a lot more to think about when it comes to first impressions. All it is right now is sizing each other up. Scoping out the competition.

Jeff: Alright, so I’m guessing all of you guys are wondering what is going to happen with tribes and all that, right?

Castaways: Yeah.

Jeff: Here’s what’s happening. Tonight, all twenty of you guys will spend the night here.

*Maxine with her jaw dropped*
*Sofia shocked*
*Dominic and Redmond share a look*
*Corby shakes his head*

Jeff: And your camp is just across this narrow stretch of sea to the other island. Here is the catch. On the island are two necklaces. The first man and the first woman to get a necklace will choose their tribes as captains.

Tanner: Wow. (confessional): To be able to choose your tribe, that’s a big deal in this game. You could be choosing your own alliance and who you work with for the rest of the game. It’s important I get that necklace.

Maxine (confessional): Hearing Jeff Probst say that we have to go across the ocean on the first frickin’ day was heart-breaking! I wasn’t ready to do a challenge yet.

Jeff: On my go.

Jessica: Let’s do it.

Allison (confessional): Man, we were all super pumped and then the atmosphere dropped like a dime and became super serious. Everyone wants that control that the necklace gives. I know I’m going to fight super hard for that power.

Jeff: On your marks!
.
.
.
.
.
Jeff: Get set!
.
.
Jeff: Go!

*all the castaways rush out to the sea*

Chris (confessional): It’s unbelievable that we just got to the island, and not even 15 minutes later I’m swimming for my life to get a necklace. It’s crazy this game.

Jeff: Jonathan, Chris, and Matt all out to an early lead for the guys. Redmond right behind. Dania is swimming through the water like a fish!

Dania (confessional): I’m a very experienced swimmer so I wasn’t too worried about the other girls, but then I think to myself. Do I really need to win this challenge and out myself as a great swimmer super early? I don’t think I would want to do that.

Jeff: Dania slowing down a little bit, allowing for Elanina and Melanie to catch up. Corby and Redmond catching up to the guys. It’s Chris and Matt racing for the necklace for the guys!
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Jeff: Matt gets the necklace for the guys! Elanina easily gets the necklace for the girls!

Matt: Woo! *high fives Elanina* (confessional): So Elanina and I got the necklaces that gives us the option of choosing our own tribes. Which is great! I’m so excited to see what happens next.

Elanina (confessional): I wasn’t expecting to win the first challenge, and I hope it doesn’t expose me as a threat literally 30 minutes into the game. My God, that would blow.

Chris (confessional): Matt beat me. Some kid with an afro beat me. I’m kind of surprised, but I’m glad that I don’t have that responsibility anymore.

Jeff: Congratulations Matt and Elanina. You guys will be choosing your tribes...tomorrow. And one more thing, you will be picking tribes of NINE. Which means that the one guy and one girl that is not chosen tomorrow will immediately get on a boat and leave the game.

Castaways: Oh my god. *whispers*

Jamar (confessional): Wow. That is scary as hell. I don’t want to be selected last. I need to do something to prove my value. I know that my age is often looked at as a detriment and a disadvantage but I need to do something.

Dominic (confessional): Jeff Probst is already killing me on Day 1! No one wants to go home. I just need to work hard, and start working on building some relationships. This isn’t just a game for me. I need to be here. I need to win.

Melanie (confessional): I was not expecting that bomb from Jeff. Wow, two people are going home without even getting a chance to play. That’s hard. And I’m probably the oldest woman here, I need to figure out a way to get into these guys’ good graces.

Jeff: Alright, I’ll leave you guys to it. I’ll be back tomorrow.

Nixon (confessional): I’m in total shock. I don’t think that they’ve ever done this before on a season. Wow. Everyone is gonna start running around like a chicken with it’s head cut off. It’s going to be a mess.

*Jeff gets on a boat and leaves*

*everyone one starts walking to the beach and talking to each other*

Jessica: Should we all introduce ourselves? I feel like that’s the perfect starting point.

Maxine: Yeah, I agree.

Dominic: Well, we need to start somewhere. I’m Dominic, 30 years old, and I’m from Phoenix.

Jessica: Nice!

Jonathan (confessional): Everyone is just a little too happy and gung-ho right now. We need to get shelter for the night because two people are going home tomorrow. I don’t want it to be me.
-
*everyone starts trying to figure out where the shelter should be*

Allison: I think the shelter should be by these two trees. There’s a lot of cover and it’s not super far from the beach.

Nixon: I disagree. If we put it right there, we’ll be downwind from the beach, and the nights will be super cold. No. No.

Allison: Well, I think most people are wanting it right here, but if you want to fight the entire group for it, go for it. (confessional): I don’t like Nixon all the much. He’s pretty much a grumpy dad. It’s either done his way or the high way, and that just doesn’t sit right with me. I know that there’s a lot of people who dislike him already.
--
Sirena (confessional): Watching all these guys work is kinda fun for me if I’m being honest. There are some cute guys here.

*Redmond chopping bamboo*
*Tanner pushing bamboo*
*Chris nailing the shelter*

Redmond (whispers to Chris): Hey man, what do you think of this group?

Chris (whispers): We’re obviously the strongest guys. We should talk to Matt though. That way he chooses us to be on his tribe. I like Matt too.

Redmond (whispers): Yeah, I agree. Matt is someone we can pull in.

*Chris and Redmond fist bump*
--
Dania (confessional): It’s been a few hours since we started this, and it’s pretty easy to see who’s getting along with who. There’s the “bro guys”.

*pans to Chris, Redmond, Matt, Tanner, and Dominic laughing by the shelter*

Dania: (confessional): There’s the girls.

*pans to Elanina, Shantrell, Sofia, Brooke, Allison, and Dania*

Dania (confessional): I’m just focused on myself and working myself in with both of the captains because I don’t want it to be me leaving tomorrow.
--
Alec (confessional): I’m trying to form some bonds with people, but it’s a struggle because everyone has already gotten so close with each other in what seems like the snap of the finger. I thought a good way to prove my value would be to start the fire with two pieces of wood.

*Alec, Dominic and Jessica are shown trying to start fire with two pieces of wood*

Corby: Come on, you can do it.

Brooke: Maybe someone else should have a shot. You’ve been doing it for some time.

Alec (panting): No, I can do it.

Jamar: Take a break man, you don’t want to kill yourself on the first day.

Dominic: Take a break dude, I’ll keep at it for you.

Alec: You sure?

Dominic: Yeah man, take care of yourself. (confessional): I feel so bad for Alec, he’s trying so hard to prove something to everyone, but I don’t think he’s done well socially to really merit a place in this game. He’s a little awkward.

*Dominic rubbing on the wood, smoke starts to rise*

Dominic: I got it! I got it! Get me wood!

Brooke: Wow, we got it!

Sofia (shouting across the camp): You guys got fire?

Brooke: Yeah!

Sofia: We got fire!

Jamar: *dances*

*castaways cheer*

Dominic (confessional): Do I feel a little bad that I got the fire over Alec? Yeah, a little. But I’m trying to stay in the game too. I don’t feel bad for that.

Elanina (confessional): Dominic’s stock within the game has just risen. I really want him on my tribe. I mean, the dude can make fire.
-
Night 1:

Matt is sitting alone near the shelter while many members of the tribe are laughing by the campfire.

Matt (confessional): It’s weighing on my mind, the job I have to do tomorrow. I don’t want to hurt anyone but it’s the game. I’m here to win for my brother. He’s had a hard life and being here for him is just something I’m proud to do for him. He’s my best friend and I want to do him good in this game.

*camera pans towards the shelter*
--
Day 2
--
*Jeff Probst hops off a boat*

Jeff: Hello! Everyone join me on the beach.

Chris (confessional): Jeff calls us onto the beach and it’s like immediately turned dark. No one wants to go home.

Jeff: Alright. Matt, Elanina, join me on either side of me.

Matt and Elanina go to Jeff Probst and stand next to him on both sides.

Jeff: Matt, you will be picking the MALEVU tribe, which will always wear green. *tosses buffs to Matt* You will hand these out as your tribe is chosen.

Matt: Cool. I like green.

Jeff: Elanina, you will be picking the YASAWA tribe, which will always wear orange. *tosses buffs to Elanina* You will also hand these out as your tribe is chosen.

Elanina (confessional): Looking at all of the other castaways, it’s hard to look them in the eyes. Two of them won’t get a chance to play this game and it hurts me because I wouldn’t want to be in their shoes.

Jeff: Here is how it will work. It’s a schoolyard pick, Matt, you will pick a girl, Elanina, you will pick a guy. And then the people who you chose will choose the next member, so on and so forth, until we are left with one guy and one girl. Clear?

Elanina and Matt: Yes.

Jeff: Awesome, Matt, you are choosing first, and you are choosing a girl.

Matt: Dania. Come on over. *hands buff to Dania*

Jeff: Elanina, you are choosing a guy.

Elanina: Dominic. *hands buff to Dominic*

Jeff: Dania, you are now choosing a guy.

Matt (whispers to Dania): Pick Chris or Redmond.

Dania: Redmond. *Matt hands buff to Redmond and gives him a fist bump*

Jeff: Dominic, you are choosing a girl.

Dominic: Brooke. *Elanina hands buff to Brooke*

Jeff: Redmond, picking a girl.

Redmond: Jess. *Matt hands buff to Jessica*

Jeff: Brooke, picking a guy.

Brooke: Jamar.

Jamar: Yes! *takes buff from Elanina* Thank you!

Jeff: Jessica, you are now picking a guy.

Jessica: Chris. *Matt hands buff to Chris*

Jeff: Jamar, choosing a girl.

Jamar: Shantrell! Get over here, girl!

Shantrell: *cheers and takes buff from Elanina*

Jeff: Chris, you’re up.

Chris: Sofia. *Matt hands buff to Sofia*

Jeff: Shantrell, you are picking a guy.

Shantrell: Corby. We need that strength.

Corby: That’s what I like to hear. *takes buff from Elanina*

Jeff: Sofia, you are picking a guy.

Sofia: Jonathan. *Matt hands buff to Jonathan*

Jeff: Corby, picking a girl.

Corby: Allison. *Elanina hands buff to Allison*

Jeff: Jonathan.

Jonathan: Sirena. *Matt hands buff to Sirena*

Jeff: Allison, you’re up.

Allison: Tanner. We’ll take Tanner.

Tanner: *sighs and takes buff from Elanina*

Jeff: Sirena. You have the last choice for the guys. It’s Alec and Nixon. Whoever you do not choose will be leaving the island immediately.

Sirena (confessional): This is the last position I wanted to be in. But I have to make the choice.

Matt (whispers to Sirena): We need a strong tribe. Keep that in mind.

Sirena: Nixon. I choose Nixon.

Nixon: *nearly collapses* Wow. Thank you. *takes buff from Matt* (confessional): Wow, it’s only Day 2 and they’re already pulling a fast one on me. I’ll give them credit, I was really scared there.

*camera pans to Alec looking down at the ground*

Alec (confessional): Wow. I’m in shock. I did not expect to be leaving as soon as I got here. I didn’t even get a chance to play the game.

Jeff: Alec, I”m sorry, but you were not chosen, and you will be leaving the island shortly. Tanner, you now have the tough decision. Either Melanie or Maxine.

Tanner: Give me Mama M. Melanie.

Melanie: *smiles* Thank you Tanner! *grabs buff from Elanina*

*camera pans to Alec giving Maxine a hug*

Maxine (confessional): I’m absolutely heart-broken right now. I love this game and I wanted a chance to play. But I guess it wasn’t in the cards.

Jeff: Maxine, I’m sorry, but you also were not chosen and will be leaving the island with Alec in just a minute.

*boat comes up and Alec and Maxine climb aboard and sail off*

Jessica (confessional): Alec and Maxine really didn’t connect with anyone and that’s why they are out of the game right now. It’s a hard game and those were the rules, they just had to be the ones to get cut.

--
*shots of Alec and Maxine on the boat*

Alec (exit confessional): Am I disappointed? Yeah I am. I really wanted to make it far and really have a go at the million dollars, but I guess it just wasn’t meant to be. I don’t know what I’m going to tell my family and friends now. They’re going to be so disappointed in me.

Maxine (exit confessional): I played 2 days on Survivor and it felt like a dream for all of it. I’m so glad to have had this opportunity and I wish I would’ve stayed a bit longer but this was what the game was and I lost the draw.

--
Jeff: Now, we will compete in your first reward challenge.

Chris (confessional): Jeff really doesn’t let us have a break, does he?

Jeff: You will be competing for this camp. In the jungle, we have hidden a small tribal idol. The first person to find it will win this camp for their tribe. Losing tribe will go to a brand new beach and start all over.

Jamar: Wow.

Jeff: Survivors Ready?
.
.
.
.
.
.
Jeff: Go!

*everyone scrambles into the jungle, looking in trees and under rocks*

Allison (confessional): There wasn’t any sort of planning at all, everyone kinda just split apart and hoped that they’d be the first to find the idol.

Jonathan: Chris! Jess! Help me move this rock.

Dominic: Can I get some help climbing into this tree?

Shantrell (confessional): Everyone is yelling at each other for help and there really isn’t any teamwork going on. Which isn’t good because if we can’t work as a team already than we might as well go home already.

Redmond (confessional): I look around and I see on top of this rock formation is something a little wooden and definitely not a rock.

Dominic: Hey, I found it! Brooke, Corby help me out!

Redmond (confessional): I’m starting to climb up and get it and three Yasawas are literally at my feet and that just kicks me into high gear and I got the idol!

Redmond: I got it! Malevu! I got it!

Sirena: Yes! *hugs Sofia*

Brooke (confessional): We were so close. Now we have to go to a brand new beach and start all over. This blows.
-
Jeff: Malevu, congratulations. You have found the idol and you will stay on this beach. Yasawa, here is your boat and a map to your new home. When you arrive, you will have to start all over.

Tanner (confessional): I wanted that camp. All of us worked hard to build that shelter and get a living area settled and now my tribe has to do it all again, and I’m not very happy about it.
--
*camera pans out*
--
--YASAWA--
-Day 2-

*tribe steps off of the boat and onto their new beach*

Elanina: Wow, this actually looks like a nice beach. A lot of space.

Allison (confessional): So we get to our new beach, and surprisingly enough, it’s actually a better beach than Malevu’s. I think we have a cave that we want to build our shelter in. It’s actually looking to be a pretty good set up.

Dominic (confessional): I am very happy to be on the tribe that I am on. It blows seeing two players leave the game like that. But it’s in the past and now there’s 17 players I have to take out to win the game.
--
Corby: What kinds of materials do we have?

Melanie: Looks like the same from the beach from yesterday. Some rice, a pot, a machete and a map to water.

Shantrell: We have stuff so there we go. At least we aren’t stranded with nothing. That would blow.

Corby: Yeah it would. (confessional): My first priority when we got to camp was to build a shelter. We were already behind by the other tribe because we have to start over on Day 2, so we needed to really prioritize building a shelter.

Corby: Where do we want to build the shelter?

Tanner: Dom and I found a cave just behind those thick of the jungle if you want to check that out.

Brooke: A cave? That’d be something I’d be interested in. It’s already natural shelter.

Jamar (confessional): When we get to camp, we didn’t even have a moment to get to know each other and feel out the vibe of the tribe, and that disappointed me. I’m here to have fun and not be super serious all of the time. We can get the shelter built but I want to come together as a tribe first.
-
Corby and Tanner start to plan out the shelter.

Corby: We need to get some bamboo. Melanie and Dom, get some bamboo. El and Allison, can you guys help Brooke clear out a living room area and get a firepit going.

*Corby, Tanner, and Jamar working on the shelter*

Corby (confessional): I don’t mind stepping up to the plate and being a leader. I’m a natural-born leader, and I hope that my tribe sees me as an asset rather than someone who needs to get voted out.

Tanner (confessional): I’m glad someone else stepped into the leadership role because you can bet that I would never volunteer to be the leader. It’s a death sentence in Survivor.

-
Brooke: Shantrell, what are you thinking about our tribe?

Shantrell: I really like our group. We have a diverse mix of people and I think our strengths align pretty well at the moment.

Brooke: I agree! Oh my god, I think we might be unbeatable!

Shantrell: I don’t want to say anything like that yet, but I like our chances.

Brooke: What do you think about Corby, though. I like the dude, and I’m glad he’s stepping into that role of a leader. We need it right now.

Shantrell: Yeah, we can use him to get through the first couple of days, but he is not lasting too long in this game. The leader has got to go. It’s Survivor 101.

Brooke: Yeah yeah. Him and Tanner are just writing themselves out of this game right now. Bossing everyone around.

Shantrell: Let’s bring this wood back to camp, and Brooke, I think we’ll be able to work together.

Brooke: I was thinking the same thing! *fist bumps Shantrell* Let’s do the damn thing.

Shantrell (confessional): I told myself from the beginning that I won’t put my full trust in anyone in this game, but everyone needs a person in the game. And I think my person might be Brooke. She’s smart and savvy, and someone I can definitely work with in this game.
-
Corby: How’s the shelter look, folks?

Dominic: I like it. It seems pretty sturdy.

Corby: Good. Good.

Dominic (confessional): Corby and Tanner are just workhorses. Ever since we got to the island, they have just been busting their asse to build us our shelter before nightfall. And they got it done, and it worked pretty damn well.

Melanie: Thanks Corby and Tanner for this shelter!

Corby (confessional): Does it bother me that the entire tribe didn’t come together and pretty much only myself, Jamar, and Tanner really built this shelter? Yeah. It does. But everyone was working and I didn’t see anyone slacking so I’m glad about that.
--
-Night 2-
--MALEVU--

Four people are sitting on the beach in the moonlight.

Dania (confessional): There is no winning this game without people. And last night, there were four people sitting together and we just bonded.

Chris: I have never lived in the jungle. I’ve never even left the country that much?

Redmond: Really? I spent a summer backpacking in Europe in college.

Matt: I haven’t really done much traveling, this is my adventure.

Dania: I’m just a lifeguard. I’ve been to Cancun.

Redmond: Cancun is pretty great too.

Chris: Man, all of you guys have done stuff I haven’t.

Matt: That’s just what happens when you live in Missouri!

Chris: You got me there, bro. (confessional): It feels good to relax with people that I get along with. I like Redmond, Dania, and Matt. They are all chill people. Kinda surprised that I’m bro-ing out with Matt but he’s a smart dude and he has a lot of stuff to say.

Matt: I don’t want to turn this strategical, but I like this group right here.

Dania: Yeah. This would be a group of people I would commit my game to.

Redmond: I’m in for an alliance with y’all. (confessional): I’m trying to figure out this game as I go and forming an alliance with people is the way to go right now. I’m just a little less worried about the game with this.

Chris: I definitely get along with you three the most.

Matt: But who would we want to pull in? I don’t think Jonny or Nix would be great choices, so probably a girl. Dania, you got any ideas?

Dania: I like Sofia and Sirena. They both seem pretty good to talk with.

Chris: We can figure this out at another point, but I’m glad we’re solid.

Matt: Yes I agree.

Dania (confessional): This alliance could either be a great thing to have going forward or it might be a detriment. I’m going to keep my options as open as I can, but I’m glad to have this alliance as a backup plan for now.

Matt: Good night, fellas. Don’t let the bugs bite.
--
--Day 3
--YASAWA--

Brooke (confessional): Waking up this morning, our first priority is water. We haven’t had clean water in 3 days now, and it’s starting to take a toll on us.

Dominic (confessional): I got the fire started on the first day, and now everyone is expecting me to do it again. I gotta do it again. *sighs* I gotta do it.

*Dominic starts gather materials with Jamar and Brooke to start making a fire*

Allison (confessional): Dom is the fire guy. He got the fire on Day 1, and now Malevu has it. So he has to give us fire now. It’s sorta expected that he does it.

Corby (confessional): If Dominic gets us fire, I’ll keep that guy around. He’s pretty good for morale. I hope he does it.

*sparks and smoke start to come out*

Dominic: Get me some tinder, give me something!

Elanina: Here you go!

*fire gets lit*

Tanner: Take it to the firepit!

*fire burns at the pit*

Yasawa: Yes!

Dominic: Hey, you know what’s even better? I put out Malevu’s fire before we left that camp. So they don’t have fire.

*castaways laugh*

Brooke (confessional): Dom did it again. Wow. I’m in shock.

Shantrell (confessional): I really like Dominic, he’s giving us fire and he works hard around camp. Nothing else really matters to me besides that right now. He’s set us up well.

Dominic (confessional): I did that! My stock in the tribe has risen baby! I feel alive right now. Like I can take on the world right now.
-
Brooke, Allison, and Elanina are sitting by the fire.

Elanina: This game is already crazy.

Allison: Right? I don’t know what to think about everything right now. It’s just a lot to think about.

Brooke: There’s Jamar following Corby around again.

Elanina turns to look and rolls her eyes.

Elanina (confessional): It’s really funny, Jamar is this twenty-something year old kid, but he follows Corby and Tanner around like a puppy dog. Like whenever Jamar gets a piece of wood, he looks around to see where Corby is so he can get his approval. It’s the closest thing we have to entertainment right now. It’s great.

Corby (confessional): Jamar is a character. I like him, he likes me and Tanner. And he’s someone I think I can control in this game. I definitely would want to keep him around.

Brooke (confessional): I love Jamar. He’s funny and a goofball, but I think there’s more to him than what we see right now. And I like that.
--
Corby: Let’s go get some more work done. We need to clear out some more paths and get some firewood.

Shantrell: We have a challenge coming up in a bit, we need to save our strength, Corby.

Corby: Ah, it’s fine. I can keep working if y’all want to conserve energy.

Shantrell: No, you’re our big guy. We need you in case the challenge is physical.

Corby: I’m sorry, I just need to do work. I can’t slack off.

Shantrell (confessional): One of the downsides to being a workhorse is that you never stop working. Corby’s gonna work himself to death out here. I wish he wouldn’t.
--
--MALEVU--
-Day 3-

Jonathan (confessional): My tribe thinks I’m looking for firewood and wood for the shelter, which I am. But if I know this game, then there is a Hidden Immunity Idol somewhere on our beach. And it is my goal to find it.

*montage of Jonathan looking through trees and rocks and digging through sand*

Jonathan (confessional): It’s been roughly an hour and I got nothing. I’m gonna keep searching. I want that idol in my possession. The amount of havoc I could wreak would be amazing with that idol. It’s a Survivor bomb. I’m not out here for anyone but myself. I want to be the villain and I want to play hard. It’s in my blood to do so. I’m willing to fight and scratch and claw my way to the end. And I don’t care if I leave a trail of blood behind me, it’s all in the game.
--
Nixon walks up to treemail, grabs the note, and walks back to camp.

Nixon: Hey guys, we got treemail!

Jessica: It’s time for that immunity challenge!

Sirena: Let’s read it!

TREE MAIL
--------------------
Three days have gone past
And two you have already lost
Work together for immunity
Or one more will be the cost

Matt (confessional): Our tribe is definitely feeling pretty high right now. We got to keep our original camp, and we are headed into the first immunity challenge on the highest of highs. I hope we can keep it up.

--YASAWA--
-Day 3-

Tanner: Treemail!

TREE MAIL
--------------------
Three days have gone past
And two you have already lost
Work together for immunity
Or one more will be the cost

Corby: Let’s do this tribe. *entire tribe puts their hands in together* On 3. Yasawa. 1! 2! 3!

Yasawa: YASAWA!

Tanner (confessional): This immunity challenge is very important to me. It’s the very first one, and it will set the stage for the rest of the game. Which tribe will gain the momentum? I hope it’s our tribe. We are pumped and primed to win.
--
--Day 3--
--Immunity Challenge--

Jeff: Come on in, guys!

*Malevu and Yasawa enter on opposite sides of a field and stand on their mat*

Jeff: Welcome to your first immunity challenge.

*castaways cheer*

Jeff: In this game, there is nothing more important than immunity. If you have immunity, you will not go to Tribal Council and you will not lose any members of your tribe. Unfortunately, one tribe will be going to Tribal Council tonight based on this challenge.

*Jeff takes cover off of Idol* (a medium-sized stone statue of a Tiki)*

Jeff: This is the immunity idol. Have this and your tribe is safe. Without it, you are vulnerable. Melanie, how important is immunity?

Melanie: Jeff, immunity is everything. Immunity is another 3 days in the game and that’s what everyone is here for.

Jeff: Alrighty. Let’s get to the challenge. For today’s immunity challenge, one person from each tribe will stand at the top of the tower and scoop water into a bucket. They will then pour that water down gutters held up by another five members of the tribe. The water will pour into a barrel, and when it is full, it will drop a bag of puzzle pieces in which the last three members of the tribe will assemble. First tribe to complete the puzzle will win immunity. And flint. *takes flint out of pocket* Clear?

Castaways: Yes.

Jeff: I’ll give you a moment to strategize and let’s get started.
--
Jeff: Alright. Pouring the water for Malevu is Sirena, and for Yasawa is Melanie. Holding the gutters for Malevu are Matt, Redmond, Chris, Dania, and Sofia. Holding the gutters for Yasawa are Dominic, Tanner, Corby, Jamar, and Allison. Solving the puzzle for Malevu is Jessica, Nixon, and Jonathan. For Yasawa is Shantrell, Elanina, and Brooke. Survivors Ready?

Castaways: Yes!

Jeff: Go!
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Jeff: Sirena and Melanie both pouring water!
.
.
.
.
.
.
Jeff: Malevu is struggling with those gutters! Yasawa starting to figure it out!
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Jeff: A lot of water is going into Yasawa’s bucket! Malevu finally figuring out the right position for the gutters!
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Jeff: Allison’s hand slips and loses a lot of water on her gutter! Malevu catching up!
.
.
.
.
.
.
Jeff: A lot of water starting to fill up for both tribes!
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Jeff: Yasawa has a little bit more water in their buckets! Malevu really got a good system going on!
.

*Malevu’s bucket fills up and their pieces drop*
.
Jeff: Malevu’s puzzle pieces fall! Nixon, Jessica, and Jonathan can start on the puzzle!

*Yasawa’s bucket fills up and their pieces drop*
.
Jeff: Yasawa can start on the puzzle! Elanina, Brooke, and Shantrell go!

Jeff: Jessica taking charge and telling Nixon and Jonathan where to put pieces!

Jeff: Yasawa working very well together on the puzzle!
.

.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Jeff: Nixon getting visibly frustrated with Jessica! He’s starting to move pieces around!
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Jeff: Shantrell placing more pieces! Yasawa’s puzzle is coming together!
.
.
Jeff: Malevu’s puzzle coming together! It’s coming down to a few pieces!
.
.
.
.
.
.
*Brooke places last piece for Yasawa*
.
.
.
Jeff: Yasawa has it! Yasawa wins immunity!
.
.
.
Yasawa: *celebrates*

Chris: F*ck.

*Jessica shakes her head*

Jeff: *picks up idol* Yasawa, who wants it?

*Jamar grabs idol from Jeff and hoists it up*

Jamar: Immunity!

Jeff: Yasawa, you guys can head back to camp. *tosses flint to Tanner*

*Yasawa leaves*

Jeff: Malevu, unfortunately, I got nothing for you except a date with me at Tribal Council tonight where one of you will be the first person voted out of this game. You have the afternoon to think about it.

*Malevu leaves*

--MALEVU--
-Day 3-

*tribe returns from the immunity challenge*

Sofia (confessional): Our tribe gets back from the first immunity challenge and the atmosphere is very dark. None of us want to go home and it’s the sad reality that one of us will be leaving the game.

Nixon (confessional): I am a little worried tonight. My priorities haven’t been on forming alliances and relationships, they’ve been on working hard and making sure our camp is set up. So yeah, I’m a little worried tonight, for sure.

Chris (confessional): Last night, Dania, myself, Red, and Matt all formed an alliance. And we are all planning on voting together. But we don’t have majority and we don’t have a target yet. We need to meet and talk about who we want to vote out. It’s an important decision.
--
Jonathan is sitting with Redmond and Chris on the beach.

Jonathan: I just want you two to know that I’m with you guys. I like you two and I want to work with you guys down the road.

Chris: I hear ya on that. Jonny, you know I have respect for you. I haven’t heard any names yet though.

Redmond: If you have any ideas, Jonny, let us know.

Jonathan: I noticed that the girls really don’t do a whole lot around camp. And Jessica was the one who lost us the challenge on that puzzle. She was all over the place. Wouldn’t listen to me or Nix.

Chris: Yeah, she was all over the place. Completely dropped the ball on the challenge.

Redmond: What about Sirena? She is probably one of our weakest members.

Jonathan: Either one I’m fine with. Just let me know where the vote is.

*Jonathan gets up and leave*

Redmond: We got options. That’s pretty reassuring.

Chris: Yeah, I agree. There’s room to maneuver.

Redmond: I’ll talk to Dania and Matt. See where their heads are at.

Chris: You got it. (confessional): I wouldn’t mind voting out either Jess or Sirena. They both don’t contribute much and Jess did lose us the challenge. But I want to push for Nixon. He’s literally a grumpy old man. And doesn’t want to be apart of the team.
--
Jessica (confessional): I am worried tonight. I thought the puzzle should be done one way and I was fought on it by both Nixon and Jonathan. I hope that they don’t turn the tribe against me.

Jessica: Hey, Sofia. What have you been hearing?

Sofia: I haven’t heard a whole lot. I don’t really like Nixon that much. And Sirena is not helpful around camp.

Jessica: I was thinking Nixon. He wasn’t willing to work with me at all on that puzzle. And now we lose a member because of it.

Sofia: Yeah. Nixon is really bothersome. I don’t really enjoy his presence around camp.

Jessica: I don’t want to go home Sofia. I really want to stay.

Sofia: Just relax and I’m sure you’ll be fine. No one blames you for the challenge. Believe me.

Jessica: Okay, I trust you.
--
Nixon (confessional): I’ve been trying to become friendly with Matt and Dania. They seem to be the core of the tribe right now. They spend a lot of time together, so if I give my vote to them, they’ll keep me around.

Nixon comes up to Matt and Dania who are sitting in the shelter.

Nixon (whispers): Tell me who to vote. I’ll vote for whoever you want me to. I’m just trying to stay alive.

Matt (confessional): When Nixon comes up to me and tells me that his vote is in my hands. That’s a great thing to hear, but it’s also scary, because I don’t know if I can trust Nixon that much.

Dania (whispers): I’m hearing a lot of Jessica and a lot of Sirena right now. That seems to be the general consensus of the tribe right now.

Nixon (whispers): You guys haven’t heard my name at all?

Matt (whispers): *shakes his head* There have been a few people, namely Jess and Sofia who are trying to get you out.

Nixon (whispers): Just let me know. I’ll be fine with either of them.
--
The alliance of Chris, Redmond, Matt, and Dania meet by the treemail.

Chris: There is so much sh*t going on right now. I want to vote out Nixon. I just don’t get a good feeling from the guy. Jonny’s willing to vote with us so we’ll have majority.

Dania: That’s a good thing cause Nixon gave his vote to Matt and I, and he’ll vote for whoever we tell him to. So it’s really up to us tonight.

Redmond (confessional): It’s a tough decision trying to figure out who to vote. We can either vote out someone the tribe doesn’t like, Nixon, or vote out a liability in challenges, such as Sirena or Jess. It’s up in the air at this point.

Chris: I want to keep out tribe strong, but at the same time keep them happy. We don’t need Nix on our tribe. We have us, and Jonny, and that’s a lot of strength right there. Nix is easily the weakest guy right now.

Matt: Listen, I don’t think we can go wrong with either of them.

Dania (confessional): We’ve gotten so close as a tribe, and voting someone out after everything we’ve done together is going to be hard.

Redmond: So we’ve decided then?

Chris: Sounds good to me.

Matt: Let’s do it.
--
*camera shots of the tribe getting ready for Tribal Council*

Jessica (confessional): I just hope that I’ve done enough to state my case to my tribe for why I should stay in the game. And hopefully I’ll be here tomorrow.

Nixon (confessional): I’m feeling fairly confident that I’m safe tonight. I know that Jessica and Sofia were trying to turn the tribe against me, but I think I’ll pull through it tonight.
--
--TRIBAL COUNCIL--

*castaways enter*

Jeff: Welcome to Tribal Council. Behind each of you is a torch. Grab a torch and approach the flame, and get fire. Because in this game, fire represents your life. Once it is gone, so are you. And that will be the case for one of you tonight.

*castaways sit down*

Jeff: Alright. Matt. What was the overall feeling about the first 3 days?

Matt: Crazy. Unpredictable.

Jeff: Really?

Matt: Yeah, Jeff. Two guys went home and didn’t even get a chance to play the game. That’s crushing and I’m glad I’m here. And I think everyone else is happy to be here too.

Jeff: Sofia, you were really close to going home on the first day, did that affect your relationship with your tribemates?

Sofia: I didn’t really think about it, everyone had their reasons for picking people, and I knew that I would get picked. I wasn’t expecting it to be the very last spot, but I’m glad I’m here. It was almost like a brand new game as soon as it happened.

Jeff: Dania, what’s the word about bonds that people are forming. Are there any obvious ones?

Dania: Chris and Redmond are the two alpha male guys on our tribe.

Jonathan: Dania, I’m not an alpha male? That strikes deep.

Dania: Oh, Jonny, you know you are. Just not an alpha alpha.

Jeff: Jonathan, what was that?

Jonathan: Oh, I’m just a big goofball, Jeff, don’t pay any attention to me.

Jeff: Jonathan, are you concerned tonight? It doesn’t seem like it.

Jonathan: Jeff, you don’t walk into Tribal Council ever without a feeling of absolute dread in your stomach. I don’t want to vote anyone of these guys off, but it’s what the game is.

Jeff: Chris, is there an apparent leader of this group?

Chris: I wouldn’t say so, I think we all work well together and get stuff done as a team.

Jeff: That’s almost like a dream on Survivor. To have a tribe with zero conflict.

Chris: That’s what makes this vote so tough, because we all like each other and we all get along.

Jeff: Nixon, what are you basing your vote on tonight?

Nixon: Self-preservation.

Jeff: Wow, so you’re worried tonight?

Nixon: Yeah I am. I know that my name is getting written down tonight.

Jeff: How do you figure that?

Nixon: Just what I hear around camp. I’m ready to vote though. I’m excited to see how the first vote shakes out.

Jeff: Jessica, what is going through your mind right now?

Jessica: I’m just wondering if I have done enough to make it through to tomorrow.

Jeff: So you too are worried tonight?

Jessica: Yeah. I would say so. I think it’s between Nixon and myself tonight. And where the votes will fall, I can’t say.

Jeff: Wow, so it’d be interesting to see how this plays out. Dania, would Jessica and Nixon be right to be worried tonight?

Dania: Yeah, just based on the challenge today, there seemed to be some friction between them on the puzzle and that’s where we lost it.

Jeff: Jonathan, you were also working on the puzzle with Nixon and Jessica, where did you fall on that spectrum of blame? Did you avoid it?

Jonathan: I wouldn’t say I avoided it, I guess that I wasn’t the chosen target by people. That’s all I have to say.

Jeff: Well. With that being said. It is time to vote. Here is how it works. One at a time, you will head to our voting confessionals. You write down the name of the person you are voting out of your tribe in clear block letters, hold it up, and speak your peace. None of us can hear you. Sirena, you’re up first.
.

I like that alliance of Chris, Redmond, Dania, and Matt.  Also hoping Brooke and Shantrell goes far. And that twist in the beginning was tragic.
