with like showing care for others verbally. its hard for me to show i have compassion or empathy thru conversation with people because it sometimes comes off as very theatrical in my eyes.
I always kinda blame it on like just how i was brought up and live (in nyc), i dont remember the last time i went around saying ily to my family or them saying it to me. Its kinda just like a known thing we never reassure ourselves. However i get into alot of trouble because of this when i leave the comfort of my own circle such as like the internet because ig its more common everywhere else to validate people with words instead of actions.
