Of peaceful protesters being shot at and losing their eyes? Y'all need to wake up. Not all but a LOT of the riots were peaceful until the police came in throwing smoke bombs, mace, and rubber bullets for NO reason other than to stop people from freely protesting. LOT of these police are the original aggressors and starting shit.. Let me link :)
But, there is a point where a line should be drawn. And the rioters and looters have crossed and the destruction continues. I think they have been heard! But it continues! If it continues. A lot of these people are going to go through some even darker times trying to keep a roof over their heads or food on the table is all I was saying. I do not agree with the continued violence
youndandreckless the protest should continue until something changes. they have been heard... they will be ignored. it happens every time. change on a systemic level will require RADICAL action. and this is the radical action.
@youngandthereckless I know what you mean. It is a complex topic there is no right answer due to the complexity and long history of all this.
But just for me personally as long as no one is getting killed I'm kinda just turning a blind eye to it instead of letting it distract me from why it has all started on the first place. But that's just how I see it. We are all exhausted with seeing this all over tv and internet and I can't imagine living in those places getting destroyed. I want to see the government put their hands up and surrender to us and do what's right. Then maybe folks will calm down.
P.s. some are starting to believe the cop who murdered George wasn't really arrested and I wouldn't be shocked
I also have snap stories and videos from my friends at peaceful protests being shot with teargas and rubber bullets. So I %100 feel for everyone affected by this.
