I dragged them too early. Based on the song "Apeshit" I feared an all trap rap auto tune album. I don't mind music like that to get hype but not as a whole album..
I listened and I was wrong. Most of the songs are Bey singing R&B with a rap here and there from her and Jay Z. It's very Lauryn Hill sounding. I was surprised and happy with the sound they went with. Summer and Lovehappy sound like classics that the general public would love because of it's throwback r&b sound. I'd recommend if you enjoy R&B AND Rap. You have to enjoy both to like the album. Like I said much better than expected. There are a few songs I don't care for though. Friends, Black affect are meh to me.
