For Rihanna tour flopping. Katy was also dragged into it. So I looked at tour ticket sales for Anti, Witness, Joanne, and Formation for reference.
Basically Anti and Witness went to arenas that could hold between 6k and like 16k. Most of Rihannas sold about 90% but most shows didn't sell out. Same with Kath, but even the smallest seating of 6k didn't even sell out and I gasped. She really did flop hard, but then again she's never been an artist people want to see live, she's more of a singles/music video celeb.
Then I checked Joanne and Formation. So far Joanne is sold out And Formation from last year sold out 100%. Gaga's crowds ranged from 16k to one randomly large stadium of 69k. All of Bey's were in a a stadium so they ranged from 40k to 79k. All sold out.
They are all huge names and at the end of the day none of them are flops. They all excel in one category and not so well in another. But they are all "main pop girls" for a reason.

ye katy and rihanna were never single handedly AS known for their performances as gaga/bey who r more dramatic or dance oriented, not saying katy and rihanna aren't, but people like gaga/beyonce/(old school Britney) rly put on a show
