Tonight the newly formed Tuati 3.0 went to their first tribal as a new tribe. Things got pretty heated and tensions were high, but tonight we say goodbye to the first winner, Chris Stoner.
Chris, my DUDE. I've known you for almost a decade now and I have nothing but the utmost respect for you, your gameplay, and your legacy. The first time I hosted you in Twilight Town, back in 2017, your journey to the end was pretty rough. Having your idol exposed by an immature child after his boot via screenshots and getting himself blacklisted would be the end for most players, but you aren't most players. You made your way to the end through sheer brute force and won in a highly controversial 4-4-1 tied vote, where you were ultimately given the edge. Coming back, I was unsure how you'd do with the target of a past winner on your back plus your now very busy lifestyle, but you still turned it UP. You've never been shy of blowing things up and making shit happen last minute, and I respect how hard you went down swinging tonight, throwing everything you could at the wall and hoping something would land. After almost a decade of being part of the survivor community together, and hosting you 3 separate times across 2 different series, tonight I have the honor of snuffing your torch for the first time.
Tonight the Tuati tribe went back to tribal council. Tensions were lying beneath the surface, but the tribe ultimately came together to bring Hot Girl Chris' run to an end.
Chris, what a JOURNEY it has been hosting you over the course of 3 seasons. In Mementos, we snuffed your torch for your very first prejury placement in an org, and I knew you had more to offer, so we brought you back for Past & Present. They voted you "least deserving of being an All Star" which lit a fire under your ass and led you to prove exactly why you should be here, by taking the reigns and being a driving force behind a lot of the P&P merge, not to mention the overwhelming Fan Favorite. Being 1 immunity away from the win, you came back in the hopes 3rd time would be the charm for you. From the very beginning things seemed bad for you, but you continued to fight your way through this game, never giving up no matter how bleak things looked even after a swap. They weren't able to get you the first 3 times but your 4th trip to tribal council proved fatal for your game. You are an absolute FORCE of personality and will be dearly missed in this game, thank you so much for giving us another shot Chris!
