3 years ago, I hosted you in your very first org, Twilight Town, where your run came to an early end after a poor challenge showing. Since then, I have watched you grow as a player and thrive in other series, and when Past & Present rolled around I knew I needed to have you back and see for myself how far you've come. You had a slow start but picked it UP after your idol play, becoming a defining force in how the season played out and winning Player of the Season. Having you back here was a definite. This season, your journey has been a pretty wild one, being involved in a tie round 4 and having your entire tribe swap with you right after, not once but TWICE. The OG Auahi tribe never escaped where it started, and that came to a head at tribal where old rivalries ended on better notes, but a shocking move still saw your game come to an end tonight. You have become a truly awesome player in the ORG community and I look forward to watching your future games!
Tonight the Kubou tribe attended tribal, and as of tonight everyone in the game has officially attended a tribal. Tribal was a bit calmer than most, but ended with its own series of call outs as Joel's torch was snuffed and he took his leave.
I can't think of anyone I have more history with as a host than you, Joel. I have hosted Joel a total of 6 times across 2 different series and tonight was his 60th time being at one of my tribal councils, a record I don't ever see being broken. In Ireland, Joel was a rootable underdog and this season saw him in very familiar territory. He spent the first few rounds in the hot seat but managed to fight back and found his way out, not going back to tribal until tonight where unfortunately the 3rd time wasn't the charm. I haven't seen many people handle the worst situations like you and I respect the hell out of your game, thank you so much for coming back and giving this another go!
This may have been one of my favorite tribals to host, ever. Split votes, the twist coming out to play, an idol, blindsides, a tie, EVERYONE fighting... jesus. At the end, someone had to go home, and that ended up being Tawni.
The Deception Island curse claims another victim tonight. Tawni, you were easily one of the most entertaining players I've hosted with your crackhead behavior during DI. I'm someone who looks for entertaining and fun personalities as much as big gameplayers so I knew you'd be a shoe-in for All Stars. Your journey through this season was a wild one to say the least. Your loyalties being exposed early on led you to play a more open game this time around, transparency can definitely be a benefit and I do feel if the tables weren't turned around on you tonight you would've been set for the long haul. I know you feel you didn't deserve to be brought back but thank you for returning!
