CAST: The cast for the most part was actually really nice. There was a lot of standouts. I felt when first announced everyone was on a strong level in their own special way. Except for maybe Amanda Tears. But even she was rootable. All in all I thought the cast was good.
CHALLENGES: I am going to keep saying it for the lower ranked seasons, they were super boring. As the weeks went on you knew who would slay and who would flop. I just felt the challenges were way too predictable for my liking. The Final Three challenge in particular was the worst one for me. Probably the worst final challenge in general. It was just lackluster.
FUCK RITA BAGA: So I hate Rita. When I tell you I hate Rita, I mean I HATE Rita. I do not think I have seen a Drag Race girl next to Jorgeous or Valentina that got WAY too overhyped. I feel her taste in fashion is a choice. I feel during her time as a host, she was very biased. Mostly towards Drag and Athena. While those two were shining lights, I do feel ladies like Mocca or Valenciaga got little to no praise. She's just a genuine waste of hosting.
DRAG COUENNE, WHY I STAN HER: Drag was my top choice from the get-go. I think her drag is on a taste level that I love and adore. It gives me a cross between Sasha Velour meets Icesis Couture. Which to me is a very high compliment. I just think her win made the season at least a D+ season.
FINAL REVIEW: The cast was good. That was about it. I feel the challenges was a tiny spark. The lip syncs were meh at best. Then Rita.....just fuck her. If renewed for a new season, I just hope they add more flare to their format, and I hope it shines and dominates to the best of their ability. With Holland gone, we need the remaining European representatives.
Favorite Queen: Drag Couenne. I just think she's terrific, and I can't wait to see what she brings.
Least Favorite Queen: Amanda Tears. Not because I hate her. She's just very boring.
