Welcome to the first round of the competition. We're going to be starting this competition with a fairly simple theme, so don't worry about obscure themes just yet. But anyway, onto the first round.
~ROUND 1 THEME: "ANYTHING GOES~
Just like the title suggests. Maybe don't pick your favorite song of all time, but pick one that you thoroughly enjoy. I'd say 8/10 is a good threshold to meet. Feel free to pick whatever genres you'd like, I'm open to listening to just about any genre out there. Pop, hip hop, electronic, throw some country or whatever at me and I'll be good to go. Just keep in mind that I will comment on them when the time comes for me to judge them.
Like I said in the very first post, you have until 9:00 PM EST, September 16th to submit. Anyone who knows they won't be able to submit should PM me asking for an extension with a specific time. ("Sorry I'll be busy, please give me an extra day/2 days"). You will only get one extension per round, so keep that in mind.
With that said, go nuts. Post your submissions in the comments below.
This is exactly what it sounds like. This is gonna be one of those song contest-type things, where you submit a song and I force myself to listen to and judge them.
~~PLANNED RULES~~
I will post a theme whenever I get around to it. I will @ you all to remind you that, yes, this is still a thing. Once I have posted a theme, you have 72 hours to post a song relating to that theme. I will then judge them all with the winner being safe from elimination for the following round.
If anyone fails to submit within the deadline, they will be eliminated at the end of the round unless they PM me asking for an extension with a specific time-frame preferred 24 or 48 hours. No additional extensions will be given beyond that point, and you will be considered eliminated if you fail to submit. If multiple people go AFK, all of them will be eliminated.
