Business Empire: A never-before seen game on Tengaged

Feb 7, 2020 by SeaViper
I am 99.9% sure nothing like this has ever been done on Tengaged before!

I'm a but if a business savvy person. I like looking at profit margins etc! Whenever I go to  business, I always wonder "How profitable is this?"

And this lead to the inspiration to my new competitive Tengaged game; Business empire!

THE BASICS:

A small group of people open businesses. There are 3 types to chose from- more on them later. Each business type has it's own pros and cons! You must manage you're money carefully!

BUSINESSES:

There are 3 businesses to choose from: Store, Restaurant and Laundromat- the Laundromat may seem like a strange choice, but more on that later!

EMPLOYEES:

To keep you're business stable, you must have employees! Each employee will take $100 off however much money you make that day- but not having enough will effect customers coming in!

THE DAYS:

Days are one of the most important parts of the game! A day lasts 24 real-life hours! At the end of the day, I will come around to the opened businesses, and access their profits. Each day, the business must pay rent (More on that later), employees wages, and the cost of stock/food/running machines! After those numbers are taken away, you will have you're profit! Once a business runs into the negatives 3 days in a row, they are closed, and the owner is eliminated! However, in the first 5 days, while the money will still be judges, nobody will be eliminated- so the businesses can get off the ground!

RENT:

Different areas have different rents, however, places with more expensive rent attract more customers! These are the stages:

Tier 1: Shack ($50 a day)
Tier 2: Street corner ($100 a day)
Tier 3: Small mall ($200 a day)
Tier 4: Small town center ($400 a day)
Tier 5: Medium mall ($500 a day)
Tier 6: Medium town center ($750 a day)
Tier 7: Popular mall ($1000 a day)
Tier 8: City center ($1500)
Tier 9: Famous mall ($2000 a day)
Tier 10: Globally famous mall ($5000 a day)

Different sized locations will require more or less employees!

PROS AND CONS:

Shop (Pros):

Lots of customers
Items can be expensive

Shop (Cons):

Requires a fairly big number of employees
Stock can be expensive

Restaurant (Pros):

Can have LOTS of customers
Food is cheap to buy
Food is pricey to sell

Restaurant (Cons):

Requires LOTS of employees

Laundromat (Pros):

Requires no employees (Apart from maybe 1 higher up)
Doesn't need re-stocking

Laundromat (Cons):

Low prices for services
Machines can be expensive to run

STOCKS:

Stocks are a very important thing- but you only need to worry about them if you own a shop or restaurant! At the start of each day, you need to order a certain amount of stock! If you order too little, then less customers will come in the future, but if you order too much, that's wasted money! If you own a laundromat, then you'll only need to worry about machine operating costs!

OVERALL:

What business you'd go for is you're choice! Some a riskier at the start, but going up can be stable, and others are stable at the start, but get riskier going up!

This blog was really made to see if anyone on this site expresses any interest in a new game, or if I should go to "Financegaged" instead LOL
