As a sociologist

The #1 cause of conflict in most social problems is not minding your business or making other people's problems as if they affect you when they absolutely don't.

CASE 1: A woman you don't know at all has an abortion because of health issues that they might die if they give birth or because they are not ready to be a mother (stuff you are not even aware of.

YOUR RESPONSE: Does not impact your life in any way so mind your business.

CASE 2: Two male couples decide they want to get married after being together for 5 years. You witness one of them proposing. However, homosexuality goes against YOUR religion.

YOUR RESPONSE: Mind your business. Their religious practice is prob different or they don't practice it at all. You are not invited to the wedding so say aww or just walk away.

Mind your business and let people live their own lives. Something your preachers in your religion may not tell you, but your faith involves only you as an individual. How you want to practice your own lifestyle and the choice you make is on YOU. You decided to go on your path on your own. Your faith does not grant you permission to judge anyone who has a different lifestyle and makes current choices. All religions share morals such as its wrong to murder, kill, rape, etc. If a person acts or lives where it does not harm anyone it should be fine.

Pro-tip: Just because you don't understand something, does not mean it is wrong. You can either: Try to understand and support it. OR you can MIND YOUR BUSINESS and walk away and not understand it.
