Aras – winner of Survivor Panama! It is rumored that he’s on with his brother Vytas. They could be a very strong pairing if they both make the merge.
Rupert – Pearl Islands, All Stars, & Heroes v. Villains – Yes, all you pirate lovers, I’ve heard that the one and only Rupert Boneham will be back on Survivor and he is supposedly paired up with his wife Laura. Can you imagine his rage if someone votes her out?
Colton – One World – apparently Colton will be on the show with his fiancee. Colton was pretty universally hated on his first seasons by fans and fellow cast members, save Alicia, alike. I think he learned a lot from his first appearance and watching himself on the show. Hate him if you want, but man does that guy give a good soundbite. Unlike most of you, I’m sure, I’m looking forward to seeing him on the show once again.
Tyson – Tocantins, Heroes v. Villains – This will be Tyson’s 3rd time playing and I hear he will be on with his beautiful girlfriend, Rachel. She could easily end up being America’s next sweetheart (the next coming of Brenda, anyone?). But, if everyone knows her boyfriend is waiting for her on the other tribe, who knows what will happen! Wouldn’t it be interesting if she had a flirt-mance with Hayden or something to save both of them and get them back to Tyson and Kat?
Gervase – Borneo – I loved Gervase on season one and I can’t believe that 13 years later he is going to be back on the show. I have heard he may be on the show with a nephew of his or potentially his brother, but he’s such a wildcard given how long ago he was on, I can’t say for sure.
The Women:
Monica Culpepper – One World – I’ve heard from multiple sources that she and her partner are all but 100% confirmed. Former NFL player, Brad Culpepper and also Monica’s husband will be on Survivor. Both are very strong, but he can’t exactly pull a Gary Hogoboom and hide his true identity, so how will he fare?
Kat – One World – All you big brother fans, get excited because Hayden Moss, Kat’s boyfriend ever since they met at a charity event in Celebration Florida last July. is going to be on the show with her! He’s a CBS million dollar winner so will people hold that against him? Kat made it far last time only to get backstabbed by a friend, so can she do better this time? Their relationship is probably the newest of any of the cast members on this season because I’m sure CBS wanted Hayden back on. It will be interesting to see how this impacts the game and their relationship. Would they vote one another out? Maybe you’d never vote your mom out, but your boyfriend/girlfriend of under one year? For a million bucks?
Laura Morett – Samoa – I’m not gonna lie, I’m pretty surprised about this choice. Not because Laura isn’t a fighter and strong competitor, but because after her season, she tweeted and said many times that CBS planted idols for Russell to find and fixed the season for him. So I’m a bit surprised they’re willing to have her back.
Tina Wesson – Australia, All Stars – I’m hearing she’s most likely on with her daughter. She’s also a contestant who hasn’t been on in many years, but I think people remember her for having beaten Colby back in Australia. I doubt she will have the preexisting relationships that the other past contestants do just due to the fact that she was on so long ago, but she is a great player and has been at a number of events and may have established some familiarity with people, so I think she has a shot!
RC – Philippines – Most memorable for her feud with Abi, RC will grace us with her presences onscreen once again and if I had to bet, a leopard print bikini as well. I haven’t heard who her partner might be but perhaps a sibling or a parent. As far as I know, she isn’t romantically involved with anyone at the moment.
Who was left out/the snubs:
Terry Deitz was considered and rumored to be on but he’s not. This is approximately the 4th time CBS has done this to him. Fans v favorites 1 & 2, heroes v villains, and one of the other returning player seasons. Poor Terry. Also, his wife Trish is a tough woman and I’m sorry she won’t be on as well.
Rob C – everyone thinks he’s on and the announcement that he and Nicole are having a baby this fall is really a decoy that they’re on s27. To my knowledge, that is NOT true. They are, in fact, expecting and I’m so excited for them.
Stephanie Valencia – I heard rumors that Steph was on, and even though she went home early on her season (hitched her star to the wrong wagon, sorry Russell), she’s a little spitfire and a huge fan of the show and I would’ve loved to see her back on. I hope she will be on again in the future.
Natalie Bolton – Natalie was also supposedly considered for this season and this girl is awesome and cutthroat, but it looks like she has been cut from the cast as well.
Shane Powers – Like Terry, Shane has been considered many times to be cast once again, but unfortunately this isn’t going to be the season. I would love to see him back on, but who knows if he’d even do it at this point.
