It’s back! New ep coming soon. If you’ve forgotten this series (I honestly had to re-read everything) and would like to catch up, I’ve included some episode summaries and links to the full episodes here on this page.
My goal is to finish this out. I can’t make any promises on how quick it’ll be, but out of all my series, Until Dawn is my fav to write, and I have an ending for this one that I’m dying to write (lol no pun intended).
EPISODE 1: “Got Any Cash?”

Summary: A group of newly-matched singles for a trial edition of a dating service are on vacation in a remote area, free from the stresses of day-to-day life. They’re currently on Day 3 (the final day), on the way to Death Valley National Park, after going to Vegas & Hoover Dam. They stop at the gas station to fill up. Courtney instigates gossip with Alyssa about Alyssa’s fixation with Jacob in the restroom, and Itzel overhears them, confirming suspicions to Jacob and her cousin, Briana, that Alyssa is jealous of her. Stephen and Skarlet flirt before he goes to the restroom in the station, too. He overhears a strange sawing sound before the cashier returns to the counter, weirding him out. Steven & Jonah, Greg & Marina, and Oli & Natalie also bond over the crazy nature of their “vacation.” Nirina, the rude tour guide, puts Roger, the driver, on blast for not paying on the company card. Entering the station to pay, she passes two girls dressed from the 1930s. She continuously rings the bell before being spun around to face the two girls-- this time, one has a clouded eye, both are in decay, and one has a butcher knife, proceeding to slit Nirina’s throat. The cashier comes back in, and the blonde reassures him that Nirina “paid.” The brunette then gets on the bus, introducing herself as Charity, their replacement tour guide, as Nirina fell “ill.” She addresses Roger by name, weirding him out. The bus then leaves the gas station.
EPISODE 2: “Changing Course”

Summary: A woman (Jonah’s ex-wife, Harriet) runs toward the bus as it leaves. Roger stops it, and she presents a ticket. She explains to an uncomfortable Jonah that she left their son, Cody, with her mom after seeing Jonah’s forms for the tour on the kitchen table, in order for them to work on their relationship. Kate offers her a seat, before a quiet exchange with herself, confusing Harriet. Zoe & Nikki and Maggie & Suzy talk about their reasons for going on the trip. Charity whispers into Roger’s ear as they pass “Death Valley” signage, and he changes the course. Zlata is concerned that her seatmate, Seven, is still in the bathroom. Logan, who’s been talking to Luna, offers to check up on her. He hears a man’s voice (Bravo), as Seven is giving him a blow job. She swings open the doors, ripping her shorts and shirt off. Most people react in annoyance. Natalie forcefully tells Seven to re-evaluate her decisions, prompting a verbal and physical altercation between both. Oli & Jonah break them up, and there’s a brief connection between the two. The engine gives out and the bus pulls over, but before Roger can do anything, Charity assures him that they have “arrived.” Greg & Marina and Steven & Zlata eagerly plan their dates, while Harriet pines for Jonah and Zoe & Nikki voice their suspicions at the odd drop-off point.
EPISODE 3: “A Note in the Wind”

Summary: Getting outside, Charity orders Roger to stay on the bus. Disgruntled, he refuses, prompting Charity to recite a weird incantation, before grabbing his head and crushing it. After a while, people grow suspicious, and Greg gets off to find them gone without a trace, save for a crumpled up paper on the ground. Alyssa assumes a leadership role, stating the need to find a trail in order to find them in case something happened. Courtney reads the paper, which gives the name of the trail and “Teatime Shack.” While she assumes it was left for them, Itzel is not convinced, leading to a tense exchange between Courtney & Itzel. Briana then shoves Courtney. Alyssa tries to get the group on-track to leave. Luna is put off when Nikki asks Logan for her first date of the trip, and he reluctantly is forced to back out. Harriet once again implores Jonah for a date, but Jonah is too angry that she left Cody with her mother to entertain the idea. Steven informs her that her erratic behavior is causing people to avoid her, causing offense to Harriet. Zlata and Oli then join the group and they laugh at the situation, while Steven solidifies his date with Zlata. Natalie lectures Bravo on “class”, but he reassures her that Seven has a good heart. Oli retorts that she had it coming when Natalie slapped her, and displays jealousy at Harriet’s claim on Jonah. Seven descends the bus stairs, showing conflicting attitudes toward Skarlet, Kate, and Stephen, before inquiring about a threesome with Skarlet or Stephen, and hugging all three, confessing her love for them. She also notes something “interesting” about Kate, before running to Bravo and sticking her hand into his pants. While Skarlet & Stephen try to make sense of Seven, Kate bares her teeth and threatens to “end” Seven, further weirding out Skarlet and Stephen. Alyssa leads a charge for the trail, in spite of Marina and Zoe’s attempts to stop her. However, Alyssa ends up back on the bus for unknown reasons (later revealed to be looking for supplies). Jacob sneaks up behind her, prompting a steamy exchange between the two. They start having sex in the seat. A humming noise can be heard and a black figure materializes before them, slashing at them just as Alyssa notices its presence. Their mutilated bodies are then shown, clearly dead.
EPISODE 4: “Tea in the Desert”

Summary: The group is walking on La Rancha trail to the shack, as an irritated Courtney leads the way. She retorts to Briana & Itzel that Alyssa’s whereabouts are obvious when they appear concerned about waiting for her and Jacob, and that the two are clearly hooking up. Steven and Zlata bond. Nikki and Zoe converse about backgrounds, and Nikki reveals that she’s transgender, and that her parents threw her out. The group arrives at the shack, which is a tiny, austere, one-room abode with a tent next to it. Maggie, Marina, & Suzy peer into the tent, where Marina is less-than enthused, while Maggie and Suzy appreciate the charm. Logan, Luna, and Itzel survey the interior of the cabin, and Itzel is still concerned about Jacob and Alyssa. Stephen and Skarlet find an outcrop in the distance for their “date.” Kate has another freakout episode trying to get them to stay behind, but they just get further creeped out. Harriet approaches Jonah again, persistent in talking about their relationship, but Jonah brings up her cheating past, angering her, and causing her to push him. Oli sees this and confronts her before handing Jonah a beer. Embarrassed, Harriet runs back towards the bus. The sun begins to set. Seven and Bravo are in the middle of an embrace when Courtney enters the tent, trying to round everyone up. Seven offers her a blunt and she takes it. Her eyes flicker a shade of purple, and Seven begins a Latin incantation. Courtney drops to her knees and Seven kisses her neck, and then throws her head back, cackling.
