TL;DR VERSION AT THE END
I know there are many people who disagree with me suiciding out of survivor, but let me try to explain myself. Now for the people who might not understand the big words I'm about to use, just read very very slowly and I'm sure you can keep up. :)
There are a lot of people who think I'm stupid for just quitting my survivor after Tits_McGee got voted out, but I don't regret my decision, and here's why.
- When I joined on October 6th 2012, I didn't go through big lengths to set myself up with a big supertribe. I joined with Aristotle and @TheThomas, and the other people just happened to be there. Of course, I ended up merging with other people like Markb101 and #Tits_McGee that would eventually be more long-term allies. But I had NO intention of playing more than maybe a month of Survivor, if even that. I just wanted to play a few challenges, then leave again (I had been on a 2 and a half month break the summer before, and I really enjoyed the time away).
- There are multiple times during the streak that both Ryan and I felt that we just wanted to quit out of Survivor, for various reasons. But we always kept each other going, and we kinda always stayed to help the other out, and we wanted to outlast ourselves, see how far we can truly go. We KNEW we weren't immune to getting voted, we KNEW it was bound to happen eventually.
- Ryan and I pretty much knew the other would suicide for whoever got voted out first because we had been playing with each other since late October 2012, and even after 9-10 months, it felt like ages, and we were pretty much only there to A) see how far we could go and B) to play with the other. Comment all you want about HAAA GAYYYYYYYYYYY and all that shit, but I really found an amazing friend in Ryan, and that's a lot more than most of you can say.
So I know these Survivor blogs and all that shit are really pretentious and annoying, I KNOW THEY ARE, but I just want to pretty much copy Ryan and thank some friends that I met along the way, or some friends that helped me throughout everything. AGAIN, I KNOW THIS IS REALLY ANNOYING AND I USUALLY DISLIKE THESE BUT I FEEL LIKE I HAVE TO CUZ THERE ARE PEOPLE TO THANK #DONTHATE
To #Aristotle and #TheThomas, if it wasn't for you guys, I wouldn't even have joined that Survivor, and I wouldn't have met some of the greatest people on this site. Thank you for everything, even though we didn't merge for very long together.
To the many people who helped me out in my merge streak from the inside but fell short before I did (there are a lot of people, you all know who you are, I won't bother making a list because I know I'll miss people), thank you for everything, if it wasn't for pretty much everyone, I wouldn't have made it nearly as far as I did. You're all amazing, and I know the vast majority of you are friends now, or even were friends before.
To Jogon, I know you faced my tribe probably 6-7 times during the entire streak, and only ended up merging twice. But you did everything you could to help me either way, and you're just one of the best friends I could ever ask for! You're pretty awesome and I know you care for me a lot, I love ya Joe < 3
To redsoxjc, I know we haven't talked that much since you sadly got voted out, and I'm not sure if you realize it or not, but you're one awesome dude! It's kinda weird because I kinda felt like I was meeting a good friend when I started talking to you about normal things. I want to keep talking to you more, and I hope you know that I'm very grateful to have met you and started talking to you!
To #Markb101, who had been my main man before my streak even started, and who turned things around with me when we merged 2-8, I cannot thank you enough for everything, you're an amazing friend, and I'm very happy that we can still talk from time to time even though you're no longer on Tengaged nearly as much.
To AngelOfWater and MTman, even though you had no part in my Survivor journey, you've been amazing friends for such a long time. I know I can go to either of you guys and talk to you guys for ages, and you just both get me. You're both awesome, and I know I'll keep in contact with yall! Keep on keepin' on!
To sjsoccer88, ShadowBaller000, Jallina15, Gabriel24 and Xbac5, you guys were amazing allies for what seemed like an endless amount of merges, and I'm happy that I grew closer to all of you. I hope that we can still keep in touch in the future, no matter how often it is, just to check in with how we're doing. You're all crazy people, but I love you all nonetheless! < 3
Finally, to #Tits_McGee, you've been a phenomenal friend. The crazy part is that we never even interacted on Tengaged before last year, even though we've both been here for over 4 years. But when we started talking, and I knew I had to switch things up coming in with a 2-8 merge, I knew you were pretty much my ticket to surviving, and you came through. We just worked so well together, we were always on the same wavelength, and we just knew what we had to do to survive so long. And of course most of our conversations weren't even about Survivor, we just talked and gossiped about a lot of things, and I'm glad we saw eye to eye on many subjects. It was just so easy to talk to you, and you've easily been one of the few people I was looking forward to talking to everyday on here. Even through times where you wanted to quit Survivor, or I wanted to quit Survivor, we always had each other's backs. You're one of the most honest, caring, trustworthy, cunty, hilarious people I know. I find it crazy that people find "so many flaws" in you and dislike/hate you, because I know that they clearly haven't seen all the amazing things about you that I have. I would say farewell, but I know we're gonna keep talking as often as we can with your work schedule and my school/work schedule. You've been my rock throughout of Survivor, and I know you would've suicided for me, if I would've received the votes yesterday like I did for you. Now I'm gonna stop embarrassing myself so you can all SHUT UP.
Now, everyone please stop making a big deal about OMG YOU'RE SUCH AN IDIOT FOR QUITTING, YOU COULD'VE BEATEN HIM IN TOP MERGES. Sure, I might have, if I wanted to, but it wasn't worth it, and I don't care about survivor titles, or the most merges on Tengaged. It's just an online website, you all need to sit down and realize this. Even to the people who are laughing because I quit, go ahead and laugh, I don't give a single fuck. It's an online GAME, and even though it's been said a thousand times by myself and other Tengagers, people need to realize this.
TL;DR - Survivor was fun, but I quit because I didn't want to play w/o Ryan, and he was an amazing friends. I love all my friends and appreciate them all. Survivor's just an online game, everyone stop making a big deal out of everything, it's just pixels.
As someone who played with Ryan before and made 30+ merges, I know he's so much fun to play with and I can only imagine going for 80ish merges with him how hard it would be to play without him. Congrats on your merges, both of you.
Phenomanimal and thank you for everything you have done for me as well...there were several periods of time where without you to keep me sane I prob would have left long ago...Thanks for taking in a noob when you were like #1 in the HoF and helping me improve on mini games...Thanks for T.U.C. lmao Thanks for the late night chats and thousands of laughs we shared behind the scenes...Gonna miss ya bro but just because you are gone from Tengaged doesn't mean you have to be a stranger elsewhere...

But i agree, i really enjoyed talking to you and Im just coming on after a few days cause holiday stuff... didnt realize you and ryan were voted out :( Sorry to hear!
We will deff stay in touch though. Im home with family and friends though on a break from school, so I am not on the computer much as Im trying to spend time with everyone :)
