So, you went and imbalanced the economy of the site by adding fast games. Ok, your choice. Then you realized the T-conomy was busted, so instead of taking a measured methodical approach to correcting the larger issue of the imbalance of quick games, you kind of gimped the fast games.
Wouldn't it be better to sit down and think through (maybe even with a group of players) the imbalances in gameplay and economics on the site thoroughly prior to just making a kneejerk reaction based on a popular blog again? That would at least keep you from having to KEEP making over-adjustments that you just have to revisit later.
In addition:
1. You do a great job building this site, but I don't think it would be a bad idea to get some real feedback and discussion going about the effect on balance big changes make.
2. Thanks for putting up with our bitching over a site you basically give us for free.
