The final 2 is set… either Chris or Mikey will be crowned the winner of this season.

Ordinarily, now would be the time when the jury would ask questions to the jury about their gameplay. However, I did not receive any questions from the jury this season, so we will be skipping over this segment of the finale entirely.

The jury is moments away from casting their votes for the winner of Nano’s Big Brother 11.

Before they do, however, the final 2 will be given one last chance to plead their case and state why they deserve to win.

I have asked both Chris and Mikey to prepare one final speech stating the main highlights of their game and why they deserve the jury’s votes.

I now have both of those speeches, and we will now hear from the final 2 before the jury votes.

Chris, you’re up first.

Chris: Hello Jury, Hope y'all are doing well!

I want to start out and say Thank you to Nano for organizing this group game, as a college student I know it's tough to handle at the moment, so props to you for keeping this going!

And to the jury, My game has been largely defined as mainly passive, with bits and pieces of offense. You may look at that as a weakness, not making any defining moves. But that's not the case at all. While this game started slow, I started planting myself as an unknowing threat ever since the double eviction. After my nomination in the double eviction, I knew I needed some sort of safety, or agency to further put me in a position of upward momentum. So, the powers available from the Nomes (as mine was three weeks of safety from weeks 7 to week 9) led me to throwing caution to the wind, and making connections with people such as Tim, Brandon, who would later win some crucial competitions, and Gabs who was a number people weren’t taking.
I had moves that were made even while I wasn’t given the power of HOH or Veto, but moved myself in a power position such as, Me taking control of Mikey’s HOH by convincing Mikey that Tim would go home if he stayed on the block against Devyn, despite Mikey’s plan to get Devyn out. In turn, he put up Dani, who I was targeting since the double eviction in week 6. I then also pulled votes from Tim and Brandon to vote out Dani by a vote of 3-2. This shows that Mikey while HOH was never in power, I was. This move was risky, but the safety gave me a shield to do so in the event that It backfired. Another big move of mine while slightly controversial is Tim’s Blindside. It was based on the circumstance of whether he could or couldn’t play in the veto, and if he wasn't drawn, it was my time to strike, which ended up with Tim eviction. It was the opportune time to get him out. I hope that it is not seen in a bad light, but It was one of the ballsiest moves, and might I add, the only risky and substantial move of this game as a whole.

To end this off, be sure to take care of yourselves and make the right decision for who you think wins! You guys have been wonderful to play with, so thank you for a fun experience.
With that being said, with a mix of passive and risky moves, I have the tools necessary to be Nano’s BB11 winner, and I hope you guys can see that too! Thank you!

Mikey: Hello Jury! Im gonna keep it short and sweet with this speech. Its been a pretty long game as you can tell so most stuff is all a blur really. I came in this game with one goal only and that was to win. This season I came in swinging winning multiple comps such early on that it was obvious I was gonna be a threat to win this game. I won when I needed to, came clutch with some wins later on in the season and made the best connections for me in this game. Chris and I pretty much Day 1 made a final 2 and he showed loyalty to me so I had no reason to betray him. I knew down the line when the time was right he would of evicted me which I don't blame him what so ever. Now I could of gone the easy way and brought an inactive to f2 but Ryan worked so hard for this game that I at least wanted a strong f2 that no matter who won it was an amazing winner. My only regret this season was not getting to know everyone in the game. Everyone seemed so chill. Anyways, I hope you guys can see just how passionate I was with this game and that hopefully I did enough to win the season. Love you jury!

Thank you Mikey.

Alright, jury. You’ve heard them both plea their cases… you’ve played the game with them… and now, it is finally time to vote for one of them to win this game.

The jury will now be instructed to cast their votes for the winner. Once I have all the votes (or at least all the votes I can currently get), I will announce the results in one final blog to end this season of Nano’s Big Brother.

We don’t have a lot of active jurors, so in the case that we don’t have 5 votes for a specific finalist, I will make my best educated guess as to who each inactive juror would vote for.

For example, Maria will most likely not be casting a jury vote. Throughout the last few weeks of her time in the house I had to ask Gabs to communicate with her on who she wanted to evict since she had me filtered for who knows why. Gabs is the only person in the house that Maria has on her friends list, so based off of that information I would assume that Maria would vote for whoever Gabs votes for.

Let’s hope this isn’t the case though, and that we can get 5 active votes for one person. It won’t be the end of the world if it doesn’t, but that’s the fairest way we can crown the winner.

Thank you all for being so patient with me all this time. I’m sorry this season turned out to be such a mess, but we’re almost at the end of it now.

I will announce the winner as soon as I can get all the votes.

Until then… calm your nerves and contain your excitement.
