The careers awaken during the morning, where the mysterious strangers are still patrolling outside.
Seraphine: We need to find water. I’m so thirsty...
Chad: We can’t really do that with those gunmen outside, can we? Just be patient... they should be leaving at noon, just like yesterday.
Seraphine: But I can’t wait any longer! I feel like I’m about to die of thirst! Wait... what about the rooftops? They’re not up there, are they? I can go up there and drink some of the rain!
Seraphine then runs upstairs to the roof.
Chad: No, wait! We don’t know that they aren’t up there too!
Seraphine doesn’t listen to Chad’s warning.
Rex: I’m thirsty too... I just wanna see if they’re up there. If they are, I’ll come back as soon as possible.
Rex then follows Seraphine, who is already went up a few floors.
Cleveland: This could be bloody!
Cleveland follows Rex.
Chad: Am I the only cautious person here?!
Chad then follows his fellow careers... and then they hear something frightening halfway to the roof.
BOOM!
They are all motionless for a moment.
Chad: Goddamnit!
Chad then pushes past Rex and Cleveland and travels up to the roof. Rex, after hearing the cannon, travels back to the ground floor, feeling scared. Cleveland continues to follow.
When Chad and Cleveland get up to the roof, they immediately see Seraphine’s body on the ground, and no mysterious strangers in sight.
Seraphine obviously died from the poisonous rain... but Chad thinks that she was killed by other means after he sees someone in the near distance.
A few buildings over, Chad can make out the face of the boy from District 9.
Dice sees that Chad and Cleveland are looking at him.
Chad: You... YOU—
Chad stops talking and starts running after him. Dice immediately runs, but Cleveland decides to go back inside the building and watch the show. He notices that Seraphine has no wounds on her body.
Dice is running as fast as he can, but Chad seems to be gaining on him.
The two travel up to a taller building, with Dice making many unpredictable turns and Chad doing his best to follow.
At one point, Chad looses Dice, and seems to be on the tallest building of the area. He looks around for Dice, and at first sees nothing... but then he sees him on the building from which he entered the roof tops.
Chad takes the shortest route possible down to his building, feeling very close to ground floor.
Chad sees Dice jump off of the building... and hears a loud crash afterward.
When he finally reaches his original building, he looks down to the ground to see... a dumpster. And on top of all the trash, he can see a pair of legs.
Chad jumps down into the dumpster to kill what he thinks is Seraphine’s killer...

Instead, he finds Seraphine herself.
Chad: Wha...?
Chad then hears someone whistling from up above. He looks up to see Dice from the second highest floor of the building over.
Chad then realizes that he’s been tricked.
He deduced that Dice must’ve picked up Seraphine’s body without him noticing, and then threw it in the dumpster. He then jumped to one of the windows of the other building immediately afterward, tricking him into thinking that he jumped into the dumpster.
Chad sees a bunch of mysterious strangers walk down to the dumpster he’s in.
Chad: Son of a bitch...
The strangers shoot him down.
BOOM!

After Chad’s death, Dice immediately goes back into the building he just entered, and continues on his way.
Meanwhile, Cleveland has been watching Chad’s little chase the entire time. He looks down at the bodies of the District 1 tributes inside of the dumpster. He is still trying to figure out how Seraphine died.
Suddenly, Cleveland sees something falling from the sky.
It’s a sponsor gift.
Cleveland is easily able to grab it and read the note.
“Thought this would help you out! I wanted to sponsor you cause... well... there’s something about you I like! Good luck out there!

Cleveland then opens up his gift to find clean food and water.
Cleveland immediately drinks his water, being extremely thirsty. He then comes to a realization.
Cleveland: The rain...
Cleveland then takes out one of his swords and makes sure to get it wet.
Meanwhile, back inside of the career building, Rex is waiting patiently for the return of his allies, unaware that one of them have just died.
???: Rex! I’m back!
Rex hears someone calling his name.
Rex looks at the stairs and sees Cleveland coming down.
Rex: Wh-where’s Chad?
Cleveland: Dead.
Rex: Wh-what?
Cleveland: Did I stutter? But there weren’t any strangers up there... he died on ground floor. Something else killed Seraphine.
Rex: She’s dead too? What else could have killed her?
Cleveland: I’m may be about to find out.
Rex: Wh-what do you mea—
Suddenly, Cleveland cuts Rex with his wet sword.
Rex falls to the ground in pain, and is in visible shock.
Despite Rex’s screaming, he clearly isn’t dying.
Cleveland: Hmm... maybe you need to actually drink it.
Cleveland then takes the group’s water canteen, which is almost empty. He then goes up to the roof to fill it up with the rain water.
He travels back downstairs where Rex is still in pain.
Cleveland: Drink this. DRINK IT!
Rex tries to resist, but Cleveland forced him to drink the poisoned water. After a few seconds, Rex stops breathing and becomes red in the face. He squirms around for a minute... and suddenly stops moving.
BOOM!
Cleveland: Huh... so it IS poisoned! This is gonna come in handy!

-Goodbye Brother-
Warren, Amy and California are all hanging out in another building, chatting with each other.
Warren: So... you’ve always wanted to play in the games, but you didn’t wanna kill anyone? How does that make any sense?
California: I just... I just thought winning the games sounded like a huge honor, and I wanted to try! But at the same time... I was never a killer.
Warren: But you killed that crazy kid from District 12 yesterday...
California: Well... I was trying to... forget about... that...
California is silent for a moment.
Amy: Might I remind you that she also saved our lives! You’re being a little rude Warren.
Warren: I didn’t mean to, I was just... look, I’m sorry, California. I was just...
Amy: Maybe it’s best if we just stop talking altogether. We’re lucky she didn’t slaughter us like the others.
Warren: Yeah... I—
Suddenly, Warren is interrupted by the clock striking 12. It’s now noon, and the mysterious strangers are leaving.
The three allies watch as the strangers leave the arena.
California: It’s safe to go out now!
California then rushes outside and celebrates in the rain. Warren and Amy make their way out there too... and they all look happy.
At one point, Warren and Amy stop celebrating and look at each other. They both smile awkwardly, looking like they have interest in each other.
However... something interrupts their special moment.
BOOM!
???: NO! NO... THIS CAN’T BE!
The three allies recognize a very distinct accent.
California: Look! Up there! It’s that foreign girl! She looks sad... we need to help her!
On the rooftops, Zoë could indeed be seen, look like she was holding someone in her arms. California immediately rushes to the building she is on the roof of.
Amy: Hey wait! You shouldn’t go alone!
Amy follows California with Warren following afterward.
When the three make their way up to the roof, they can see Zoë holding the dead body of her brother, Biba.
Zoë looks at the three of them and become startled.
California: It’s okay! We aren’t here to hurt you.
Zoë then looks down at her dead brother.
Zoë: All he did was drink some of the rain water...
Amy: The rainwater?
Warren: Of course! The rain must be poisonous! Why would they just give us a never ending source of water?
Zoë now looks even more upset.
Warren: Oh, I didn’t mean to—
Zoë: Please... just leave me with my brother.
Zoë continues to cry. Amy looks like she’s about to cry as well.
On their way down, Amy finally breaks.
Amy: That was so sad! To lose someone that near and dear to you... oh my god!
Amy starts balling. She immediately goes over to Warren and cries in his shoulder.
Warren is shocked, but rolls with it.
Warren: It’s... it’s gonna be okay.
Warren then hugs Amy. Amy hugs Warren back.
As they hug, Warren can’t help but smile. California notices, and gets all warm inside.
-Later-
Cleveland is hanging out inside of what used to be the career hideout, waiting for something...
It has been nightfall for a few hours.
Cleveland: Any time now...
Suddenly, the clock strikes midnight, and the mysterious strangers suddenly return across the arena.
Cleveland: Perfect.
Cleveland then makes his way up to the roof. As soon as he gets out, he takes a drink of his water.
Cleveland: Everyone will be at their most vulnerable now... and they’re all gonna die!
Suddenly, he notices the fallen tributes of the day being projected in the sky, and they’re being projected all across the arena as well.

Cleveland: So... only 6 people left? This is gonna be easy!
