Year 6 of the countdown is here! Quite a year in music if I am being honest this was probably the most challenging for me in a few years. Usually I'm struggling to find more than like 40 songs sometimes but this year I had a list of about a top 75 and I needed to narrow that down which was difficult. As always this will track songs from November 1st 2021 to November 1st 2022. This gives songs in Nov and Dec a fair chance in the countdown.

Turn up the music period Lizzo. Oh this chorus got me in my feels idc. The tik tok was so much fun for this song and Lizzo came back to do her thing with this track. I find the hatred for Lizzo quite comical like y'all really just hate every person that doesn't fit into your standards... like shit get over yourselves.
Countdown History: This is Lizzo's 4th entry on the countdown! Will she crack the top 10 again?
Oh Taylor such a good song. This song honestly had a chorus that carried for me. I really reallly loved this chorus. I think her imagery she uses is just so insane honestly. The rust that grew between telephones... like damn bitch you have been hurt holy fuck. Honestly if I could have made like 10 songs for her on the countdown I would've so picking the ones to highlight was so hard. But I enjoyed this track a lot.
Countdown History: This is her 17th hit on the countdown and her 10th in the top 15. Can she finally get a #1 this year?
