**EPISODE RANKING**
Scarlett Lee - "Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You"
Shan Ako - "Summertime"
Anthony Russell - "Beyond The Sea"
Dalton Harris - "Listen"
Acacia & Aaliyah - "Act Our Age"
Brendan Murray - "Say Something"
Bella Penfold - "Strong"
Danny Tetley - "My Way"
**THOUGHTS**
- All in all an underwhelming episode tbh.
- Scarlett is the sleeper of this season. I think she has a real shot of making it to the finale and voices like hers are in right now.
- Vocally subtle and beautiful, Shan strikes again. She always persons with such elegance and class.
- This style of music fits Anthony so well. I think had he stayed within these genre lines the last few weeks he'd be higher on my overall ranking. Very solid.
- Dalton wasn't bad but something wasn't clicking in this performance. Idk it just felt weird.
- I typically don't like when people sing original songs (mostly when it's every damn week) but A&A did well. This was a fun and upbeat performance that you'd want to see in concert
- Zhavia put Say Something to rest so anyone who sings it now just fails in comparison. Brendan wasn't bad tho and I'm intrigued by his voice.
- Bella and Danny's performances were the literal definition of "Meh."
**ELIMINATION THOUGHTS**
I don't usually do this but really? Shan eliminated? Over Acacia & Aaliyah? Really? When I checked the Wikipedia I was certain there had to be a mistake but nope. X Factor UK is doing one of my biggest complaints about #TheVoice and that's having the same people on the bottom each week but they keep staying over better artists. Ugh. Oh and also Bella went home but whatever.
**OVERALL RANKING**
1. Scarlett Lee (+2)
2. Shan Ako (-)
3. Dalton Harris (-2)
4. Acacia & Aaliyah (+3)
5. Brendan Murray (+1)
6. Bella Penfold (-2)
7. Anthony Russell (+3)
8. Danny Tetley (-3)
Shan was so robbed and I’m still mad about it now.
I hope A and A actually do something next week to show why they stayed over Shan other wise I’m not gonna like this show in the future
Sloth_Roman your opinions continue to baffle me, acacia and aaliyah are 70% of the girls you will bump into at a local nightclub, if you're old enough to go to one you'll see plenty of girls trying to rap along to the music that's on in the background, that doesn't mean they are the next Cardi/Nicki lol
anyway, 3 weeks in the bottom 2 speaks for itself, you're lucky Ayda is just Robbie's puppet xD
dandoe Um. Shan is the MOST basic singer ever lmao. Also most of the people who watch this show are like over the age of 40 so theyre not rlly gonna have much influence on the business. Bc trust if X factor was actually popular then AA woudlnt have been in the bottom at all. Theyre the best anyway not my problem if old ppl stan boring singers who stand there.
Sloth_Roman the way I see it is, Shan could easily run around the stage, jumping on the judges desk singing bang bang for the 7th time but I don't think AA could stand still and deliver a vocal performance as strong as Shan's, I think the dance moves and high energy is to cover up the fact neither of them can really sing
dandoe "neither of them can really sing" Bc that's not what they do. It's really not a singing competition. How many people in the charts can actually sing. Shans a good singer but she will never be successful and thats the truth tea
Sloth_Roman I'd agree with the charts thing, but I really dislike the charts these days lol, which is why they would probably do well in them and why I don't warm to them, I've always stanned the better singers on these types of shows (and I watch most of them haha)
shan is a roach bye
