X Factor UK Week 6 Part 2 Rankings &..

1 MJFJUNE, Nov 26, 2018

**EPISODE RANKING**
Dalton Harris - "Clown"
Scarlett Lee - "I Didn't Know My Own Strength"
Acacia & Aliyah - "Big for Your Boots"/ "Shutdown"
Anthony Russell - "Don't Look Back In Anger"
**THOUGHTS**
- Scarlett & A&A singing songs they've already done on the show lmao. Mess. No wonder they were the bottom 2 why would you not do something new to show off your abilities????
- Dalton is by far the best well rounded singer left
- Scarlett was good. She tackled Whitney Houston (again) and succeeded so props to her
- Acacia & Aliyah were fine. If I was in the bottom 4 times I sure as hell wouldn't redo a song I've already done
- I just don't see the appeal in Anthony's voice. Idk, maybe it's just me.
- Scarlett being in the bottom 2 all but confirms to me that Dalton Harris is winning this show. He's never been in the bottom and his performances are often trending on YouTube.
**OVERALL RANKING**
1. Dalton Harris (+1)
2. Scarlett Lee (-1)
3. Anthony Russell (+2)
**PREDICTIONS**
What I THINK will happen:
4th: Acacia & Aliyah
3rd: Anthony Russell
2nd: Scarlett Lee
1st: Dalton Harris

X Factor UK Week 6 Part 1 Rankings &..

7 MJFJUNE, Nov 25, 2018

**EPISODE RANKING**
**FIRST SONGS**
Scarlett Lee - "This Is Me"
Brendan Murray - "Run"
Dalton Harris - "Feeling Good"
Acacia & Aliyah - "Blinded By Your Grace" / "I Win"
Anthony Russell - "Living On A Prayer"
Danny Tetley - "This Is My Life"
**SECOND SONGS (ABBA Tribute)**
Dalton Harris - "SOS"
Danny Tetley & Friends - "Thank You For The Music"
Scarlett Lee - "The Winner Takes All"
Brendan Murray - "I Have A Dream'
Acacia & Aliyah - "Money Money Money"
Anthony Russell - "The Name Of The Game"
**THOUGHTS**
- I'm ranking their first and second songs separately because all the ABBA songs weren't full length and they just blended them all together somewhat.
- All the ABBA tributes were ok. Some were too short and LMAO at them not letting Danny be solo on his. These performances won't play a role in my overall rankings. Just their first songs.
- Every comment from here down is about the FIRST set of performances.
- Scarlett was super good, I felt like I was watching a pro perform. Very solid even if the theme is tired
- When I saw Brendan was singing Snow Patrol I was VERY excited. Run fit his voice flawlessly and I loved every second
- Dalton was great once again, his range is insane and he can fit just about anywhere. Only reason he isn't higher is because Scarlett & Brendan really brought their A Game
- A&A were fun once again. I'd really like to see them explore their voices more as this performance showed they're capable of more (vocally)
- Anthony was ok. I guess the fit his voice but this song has been played so much that now every performance just sounds like karaoke
- Did not like Danny's performance at all. What a mess.
**ELIMINATION THOUGHTS**
- Sad to see Brendan go. I really enjoyed his voice and through it was a standout
- Danny was whatever. Not really sure how he got to the live shows unless I missed some fantastic performances from him in the beginning stages of the season.
**OVERALL RANKING**
1. Scarlett Lee (+1)
2. Dalton Harris (-1)
3. Brendan Murray (+2)
4. Acacia & Aliyah (-)
5. Anthony Russell (+2)
6. Danny Tetley (+2)
**PREDICTIONS**
What I WANT to happen:
4th: Anthony Russell
3rd: Acacia & Aliyah
2nd: Dalton Harris/Scarlett Lee
1st: Dalton Harris/Scarlett Lee
What I THINK will happen:
4th: Acacia & Aliyah
3rd: Anthony Russell
2nd: Scarlett Lee
1st: Dalton Harris

X Factor UK Week 3 RANKINGS

1 MJFJUNE, Nov 4, 2018

**DISCLAIMER: This is the first week of performances I've watched of this season. I am oblivious to past performances / who the fan favs are / who's been good or bad. This ranking is solely based on the performances I viewed this week.**
RANKINGS:
Dalton Harris - "Creep"
Shan Ako - "Sound Of Silence"
Scarlett Lee - "I Put a Spell On You"
Molly Scott - "Toxic"
Bella Pendold - "In My Blood"
Danny Tetley - "Who Wants To Live Forever?"
Giovanni Spano - "Live and Let Die"
Misunderstood - "Thriller"
Aaliyah & Acacia - "Jump"
Anthony Russell - "Demons"
Brendan Murray - "Youngblood"
United Vibe - "Bleeding Love"
**THOUGHTS**
- I'm speechless @ Dalton. How is this man competing for a record deal? He should already have one!
- Shans performance was absolutely beautiful. That song is so iconic but very one note and haunting and she really made it something breathtaking.
- Scarlett blew my FACE off holy shit. Incredible control which is important with belting cuz without it it just sounds like screaming. Really solid.
- Molly is good but I feel like she holds back a lot. She really needs too showcase her voice more cuz right now she's just a very average sounding singer (still good tho!)
- Bella started off VERY rocky imo but once she hit the chorus she was solid. Her voice somewhat reminds me of Cher.
- X Factor once again with the sound issues smh. This was fine, I think were better options and I think he sounded pitchy in some parts but nothing terrible
- Ok can we just take a moment to acknowledge that Giovanni did a trust fall off the stage and didn't crack his voice once. He HELD the damn note. That being said, I liked it despite it not being my vibe
- Thriller is one of the most iconic Halloween songs ever and tackling Michael Jackson in general is no easy task. That being said, I think they did fine. Nothing spectacular but nothing bad.
- Aliyah & Acacia were cool and definitely the most fun performance of the night. It's just hard to rank rappers on singing shows
- Technical sound issues aside AGAIN (since it's not Anthony's fault) this was bleh. I get that he has a different voice but it just didn't click for me. It sounded like someone was talking into a stand up fan. Idk maybe it's just me and hopefully he proves me wrong next week.
- Brendan's performance sounded like drunk karaoke and I could barely hear him half the time. Perhaps it was the song choice. Like I said, this is my introduction to these people
- Bleeding Love is probably my favorite song of all time so I was nervous seeing that it was performed. Was this a joke? No, like, seriously...was this a joke? This was fucking AWFUL. I haven't even seen the rest of the season and I already know there were more deserving people to be in the live shows. Really just god awful not a single damn redeeming quality..

Does dead bodies make anyone else nauseous?

1 Timster, Sep 23, 2018

I'm not even talking gory. Just seeing a picture of someone in a casket makes me on the verge of throwing up. The one funeral I went to was open casket and I had to close my eyes when walking to it.
I made this blog cause Panda Ross on #xfactoruk posted a picture of her dead husband in the casket on Twitter and now I feel sick.

X Factor songs you can stream/buy on itunes

1 Timster, Dec 8, 2017

suck. They basically use the live version from the performance instead of creating a more crisp, clean version in the studio like they do on The Voice.
W.e i'mma enjoy Demelo anyways! #XFactoruk #Raksu

The Filipinos are already at it LMAO

4 Timster, Oct 31, 2017

Anyone who watches #xfactoruk and reads comments on YouTube knows how passionate the Fililipino fans get when one makes the live shows. We saw it with 4th Impact when they literally got x4 as many views as the rest of the contestants due to the whole damn country if the Philippines watching their fave. They are so passionate and aggressive about their stanning that they passive aggressively bring down the rest of the contestants in every way possible. It's really funny. They even go to the music video of the song that their fave is performing on the live show (before they even perform it) and comment how their fave will sing it much better than the original (they did this on Beyoncé's Work It Out when 4th Impact performed) or "oh no this isn't a good enough song for them!" Etc.
ANYWAYS I'm reading comments on a small clip of the first night of eliminations and the top comment is saying that all the girls except Alisha were disrespectful by cheering and running to the safe side without hugging anyone and all the people agreeing below are like "Yes everyone BUT Alisha was rude! Must be her Filipino manners!" LMAO I love their pride for their people. It's so funny and annoying at the same time.

LMFAO THESE X FACTOR UK BOOT CAMP

4 Timster, Oct 15, 2017

GROUPS ARE AWFUL. I CANT BREATHE THIS IS SO ENTERTAINING (yes I'm behind) #Xfactoruk
The fake ass bad American Idol auditions have NOTHING on X Factor boot camp when everyone tries to outsing each other and sound like a choir of dying whales

X Factor UK is the best singing show ever

4 Timster, Oct 10, 2017

Ugh I can't get enough of these auditions (yes I'm behind). The perfect amount of storyline without a ton of over the top "victim noises!" Like Idol, judges don't yap for 10 hours like The Voice, and everyone is actually really really good this year? Ugh I just love it. And they're so much more honest unlike all the other singing show judges. Every time someone gives a good performance BUT needs criticism the judges always say what's on my mind. They're not afraid to call out a copy cat or a try hard.
On top of that the show is entertaining from start to finish. Unlike The Voice which gets boring after the battle rounds. The format is so messy and creates natural drama instead of stunts that Idol pulls. I can't get enough of this show

4 Timster, Sep 16, 2017

While singing is an American thing? I'm watching #Xfactoruk episode 1 rn lmao. How is that American? They hate when people start sounding/acting American but realize most of these folks want to make it big in amerikkka not their sorry ass country! Oops

Tbh I liked Relley C as a person

6 Timster, Oct 30, 2016

but I didn't care too much for her voice.. idk why she was sent home though since the Facebook page had a MELTDOWN over her going home (surprisingly).
However with Gifty, she was sent home because she shows a lot of confidence on stage when she's singing. People are threatened by that and think she's cocky. I saw hundreds of cat ladies say this on the facebook page about her.. they take her confidence for cockiness. Which is funny cause she always says she's nervous when she performs and looks shy when the host is talking to her.
That's why bl*ck women don't win singing shows nowadays.
9/10 they're labelled "cocky" or a "diva" and viewers are turned off by them.
