1) First of all, half of you that are begging randomize to bring back The Duel have never even played it LOL. How does that work out?
2) This has happened before. The Duel was removed because nobody played it (this was BEFORE the unenroll button was invented). Games would take 1-2 days to fill! But when it was removed everyone begged for it back, randomize brought it back, and after a week it went back to 1 game filling every 24 hours.
3) The Hunger Games. I wouldn't be surprised if randomize didn't bring back The Duel seeing as we practically already have it in a more advanced form with The Hunger Games. Furthermore, i'm pretty sure he doesn't want the website to be completely full of challenge based games. Castings/crookies require activity which was the whole basis of Tengaged from the beginning, not how well you can use cheat engine.
4) Server space. This is a BIG one! Mostly, the reason why we don't get loads of fancey updates every 2 days like y'all crave is because there is a limit to how much data the server can hold, not because randomize doesn't care. I'm also pretty sure THG takes up A LOT of space on the server, so rando isn't able to add stuff every so often because others things would have to be deleted to make room for new things.
tl;dr - The Duel isn't back because no one ever joined it even when there wasn't an unenroll button. Other reasons include THG is similar, there is little server space, etc...
I personally would love The Duel back! But lets all stop being delusional and face the truth, the only people that won The Duel were challenge dominators, and if it did come back then i guarantee after a week it would go back to no one bothering with it as they know they don't stand a chance against the challenge beasts.
Look I loved the Duel and I played it a long time ago, it wasn't always a matter of losing to comp dominators, it was a matter of using it to get better at comps! Just my opinion

Yeah there's server space and Randomize genuinely doesn't give a fuck lol. He goes months without ever doing anything on the site. He doesn't give a fuck.
BrendonByrne if people played them then why did each game take substantially longer than every other game to fill? And don't say "oh well there was an unenroll button" because even before that they took days to fill.
I don't get why people go against it coming back, let people ask for it back who cares
If you don't like it, don't play it nobody is gonna make you play it, but for the people who ask for it back, let them ask and if it comes back it will help them practice challenges.
Personally, I don't really care if it comes back or not but the problem was with the unenroll button rather than the game itself.
I'm not against it coming back nor the people who want it back, but for those who keep begging for it back i was just letting those know the reasons WHY its not yet back.

I still wanna know what frats or the have to do with reality TV lmao...totes agree about duel we have been down this road twice lmao...most here are never happy and imm want something else or find something wrong when they get what they wanted... We still need like annual or semi annual updates to keep things fresh...
Milkisgood i completely agree that it can be improved, but frookies/crookies are easily winnable against premades, whereas with the Duel you HAVE to be good at challenges to win. Plain and simple. No ifs or buts.

and yes that's true, but i think the people who want the duel back want it so they can practice challenges so they can get better at them, and if they want to do that then let them beg for it, sure challenge beasts will more than likely dominate it, but it allows for easy practice as well
I think if would be a great idea if they made the duel into a duo game
like 24 players put into 12 duos randomly an there score would accumulate together an average out. So a challenge beast can be paired up with a challenge newb and they either could do really well together or fall flat and the game would obviously have 2 winners with the duo thing.

Errrm... Bcos exactly the reason. Bcos they've NEVER played it & want it brought back TO play it. Perhaps they're a fan of MTV's "The Challenge" OR just simply want another game to try...
