im having trouble uploading a png file it only gives me the option to upload a bmp or a jpg file...i just wanna know how to do it..and what do ppl mean when they ask what software im using

You have a pic right. Right click and hit save as. And when it pops up there is a scroll down bar and you should be able to change it to a PNG.
