#RedFabFoxy made a mistake when he was 18 or 19, YES it was a very wrong mistake, and YES, as I also stated in the mail that I am getting slaughtered for, it was the CORRECT decision for him to be banned as a result. his actions were of a predatory nature.
i do believe Red did not entirely know what he was doing when the situation happened, but not once am i going to act like that constituted something that was ok, nor have i expressed my views on this outside of close friends i know were unaffected, when i mean right after he was banned i told him that that was a very poor mistake that warranted a ban, so he got what he deserved.
maybe this is wrong of me, but i honestly do not believe such thing between 2 people aged 16 and 18, or possibly 16 and 19; but based on when their birthdays are, and Bryce stating he was 16, Red was either 18 or 19; i do not believe such thing between two warrants pedophilia.
and not once is that me demeaning Bryce's experiences, nor defending Red, it is just me simply saying that i do not believe an 18 or possibly 19 year old flirting with a 16 year old; is pedophilia.
and in reference to the shady blog by koolness234 , i mean maybe people are different, i personally DO see a difference between someone being labelled a 'predator' and a 'pedophile', so i'm sorry that my personal thoughts between the two are not on the same wavelength as your's, what about it?

is NOT the same as a predator, and I DO THINK it is unfair to label an 18/19 year old as a pedophile for interacting in flirting with someone younger than them, when that is literally putting them on the same pedestal as some MUCH older tengaged users who did a WHOLE lot lot worse.
i know a lot of this site choose to live under a rock, but you are not going to sit here and pretend either that you have not heard of situations before where a teenager has dated someone 2 grades/years above them. because i personally have heard of many. and if you haven't? well honestly fair play, i do think you'd be in the minority for that. there has been a LOTTTTT on this site too.
But yes i'll end this blog here, but not ONCE did i sit there and suggest Red's actions were ok, because that is not what i believe either. So it is quite odd too when people are going to sit there and blame me saying "How dare you defend a pedophile" when I NEVER defended anyone's actions. i simply just said I do not believe labelling him as a pedophile is correct, and instead actually devalues people's experiences who had to deal with ACTUAL pedophiles. because doing some predatory action once and being a pedophile are two different things, and i stand by that too, Josh making a blog about my opinion of that being horrific won't change that either. BOTH are awful, and both deserve bans absolutely, but they are not the same thing, and yeah, i won't go around in circles. that's all.

When i sent Bryce the mail he posted, i had no idea he was the victim of this. My lack of awareness is not really an excuse that justifies it, but i sure as hell don't want ANYONE thinking i KNEW Bryce was the victim and i sent him a mail just because? i would never do that to anyone. i have since apologised to Bryce for it, and he responded that he knew i did not intend anythig malicious towards him from my mail. but yeah.

I just find it funny that of all the discourse and all the things to talk about the situation it always people telling the victim WELL THEY WERE A PREDATOR NOT A PEDOPHILE

Also if someone messaged me someone on your friends list is a pedophile and I knew they were banned for inappropriate conduct with a minor. I would mail back. Sorry I'll remove them and sorry if you seeing them on my profile triggered your experience with them, and then remove it and be done
I would not get into the schematics with the victim over whether the person subsequently preyed on them was a predator or a pedophile. Just me and we are on different wavelenthg
koolness234 i removed him before i sent Bryce that mail because i understand that someone has a situation that has affected them, which was why not once did i attempt to belittle Bryce, i mean in my original mail to him i didn't know that it was him it was impacting - and perhaps that is the distasteful and socially unaware move by me, and i will apologise to Bryce for that, because he shouldn't have been in the position to have to inform me it involved him
the only point of anything i have said is that being a predator and a pedophile are two separate things, neither is ok, but one has more serious implications, and i didn't think one mistake by a teenager warranted being labelled a pedophile.
