My comments were taken as Anti-BLM when I intended them as anti-violence.
However, these comments were ignorant and one-sided and I have since changed my views and done more research on previous police violence situations. I was ignorant to what has been happening in the world and I made some comments with poor judgment.
I ignorantly said that the BLM protesters are the only ones causing the violence when that was a very unfair statement. I realize that everyone has participated in the strength of this campaign, and that it was less of violence, and more of seeking justice. These rallies are extremely inspirational and I have been able to attend a few and found a lot of acceptance and unity at these rallies.
I just want to apologize for those who I offended and the ignorant uneducated comments I previously made.
So normally I wouldn't use this platform to solicit or advertise for any particular personal matter but this one is really important to me.
22 years ago my half-brother Skylar was born under the name Savannah. He was adopted into a family of social workers at the age of 3 suffers from autism as well as bipolar and gender dysphoria. He has a really hard time expressing himself and was going through the blackmarket/deep web to get hands on testosterone shots because his parents are not supportive of his transition.
When they found out what he was doing, they told him to stop but they want him to stop altogether and not go through with it. He wants to do it the healthy and monitored way so he wrote a letter to his parents begging them for help and support. They said no and then had him removed from the insurance policy and told him to apply for MediCal/Medicaid (which essentially few doctors on Medicaid will do that type of therapy/procedure).
I really want him to be comfortable in his body because it's essential to his confidence and progress with his mental health. I know how strong of a person he is, and I really want to see him thrive.
I'm not a solicitor and I'm not going to ask anyone to donate, but I will share the campaign, and if anyone can relate to this situation, please share this blog and share the campaign link to people you know, because it could change my brother's life.
EDIT 1: Thank you to all the early plusses!
EDIT 2: OMG I was not expecting to wake up to this. You guys are amazing, thank you all so much for the kind messages and donations for my brother. I love you all so much
