The next game I play will be my 100th. Originally, I was never going to do a charity again after my Silver Level Charity, but with 99 games played and being within striking distance of Sky Level, I think it is time to give it another try.
Now, I do realize the charity holder for http://www.tengaged.com/game/117245 is banned till after the end of the game. Rest assured, I will make sure you're all getting your money back for your bets and do what I can for him to get the best placement possible. Because of the ban, it does not feel right to buy Sky should I end up getting 1st in that game and instead use my 100th game as a Sky Charity as well.
PYN in the comments below if you want to help. It will be some time next week before I leave for Cape Cod for the 4th of July, and it'll be a Frookies that would likely start around midnight.
So today, I decided to do a new feature to this countdown. Instead of posting a picture of the race course, I will give you a video of the course. Let me know if you guys like this feature or would prefer me to go back to the old method.
29) Toad Circuit
So, like 34, this is a basic course. However, since this is the first course of a Mario Kart game, I gave more leeway to this track and N64 Luigi Raceway, in contrast to Mario Circuit which was in the Flower Cup. Why is this, you might ask? Because, like other first courses in Mario Kart games, this course was designed for people playing Mario Kart for the first time. There’s not much to it. It’s a good track for beginners, but for pros like me, I always come expecting more, so this takes the No. 29 spot.
Yep. I am putting Piranha Plant Slide in 30th place. To be honest, there’s not a whole I like about the track, mainly because it doesn’t stick out very well to me. Going underwater is a cool feature about this course, but other than that, this track is just kind of there.
In the Wii Custom Tracks, this was called “Piranha Plant Pipeline”. It was the last course in this cup:
Before I begin, I want to apologize and say that I'm sorry I wasn’t able to get this up last night. I had been busy with work. However, I should have more time before work to get 30 done, so I will try to get the next one up tonight if possible. Thank you all for the support, and if this blog gets 125 points (or the next blog if I can get it up later today or tonight), I will try to get 2 up tomorrow.
31) Sherbet Rink
Last place of the 6 battle courses lands here at 31. Really, it isn’t memorable as a Battle Course and I don’t like the snow portions that hamper your speed, thus making you an easy target. There really isn’t much else to say about it other than that. There are also other places that offer much more strategy, so I guess that’s another reason it’s this low?
For the 2nd time in a row, a course in the Mushroom Cup is taken out. That being said, even though a Battle Course still has not been eliminated yet, it’s this pick that we’re starting to get into the courses that I kind of like. However, the problem this course has is not the parts right before the long gliding section. It’s in the first half of the race when you race through the bazaar itself. There’s a lot of paths to go, but that comes at a price: this section is so cluttered that it’s hard NOT to hit one of those small buildings/stands. There’s also a shortcut, but let’s be honest: that’s pretty difficult to take unscathed too.
