I'm legit shocked you had this in store. Doesn't sound like something you'd listen to, and I vibed with it really well. I keep complaining I hate big songs, but I listened to this so well and when I realized it had 4 minutes I was... bald. His voice is smooth, it has this dark beat, almost like nocturnal. Something in this is insanely good and I'm intrigued.
boyfriend ─ “Cibo Matto - Sugar Water”
This... It just took me to another place. I don't know how or what happened. I love her accent, and the beats are so angelical it made me go woooooo.... like... ugh. So good. It literally feels like hearing angels sing with the oooh's. There are a few talked parts that took me off, but that's my only complain.
Galaxies ─ “Cashmere Cat - Victoria's Veil”
I haven't heard anything from this person except of a song with Ariana Grande. But I guess same thing as Lukesaur, I think if this had vocals it'd be far more enjoyable. I really don’t have much to say, this just didn’t do anything for me i guess..
Lukesaur ─ “Alphex Twin - Fingerbib”
Perhaps this is too intelligent for me. Like, go ahead, mock me for not liking this. It's just... not my cup of tea i guess. Of course I can see it featured in a Crystal Castles album if they ever were to make something like Celestica again. But other than that... Listening to Gameboy Advance sounds for 4 minutes was not my favorite. And having no vocals made it worse.
mathboy9 ─ “BOA - Duvet”
I actually like this. I love the chords in this, the instruments, the vibe of cuffed jeans in fall season in the 90s, like very The Goo Goo Dolls in that angels movie, also very Pixies. But I kinda dislike the melismas she makes like every 5 seconds, it takes me off that vibe and it becomes kind of annoying, specially when she goes -ing a word
sosyomomma ─ “Eminem - Mockingbird”
Like, I know this could be considered a basic choice, as it’s very well known, but if it wasn’t for this specific theme, I probably wouldn’t hear the song again, so I take that into consideration. I could be clocked for this, but I really enjoy some of his songs, I used to hate him sm when younger and when I grew up and gave him a chance I found out this amazing discography. I personally love love love this song, and like the toxic masculinity he brings at the end when he says he’ll break the birdy’s neck is overwhelming.

Since you’re both here for not giving me what I wanted when it came to non-pop music, I must return to asking for pop. Except - I don’t want mainstream songs to be submitted. Like, that’s whack.
So the only additional requirement is that the song has LESS than 1M views on YouTube, being an official music video. If the song doesn’t have a music video, then the official audio counts.
