My name is Josh and I play under the username, Joshie93.Today i had been banned for two days for using the “N” Word as described by the automatic message. As this had been used in a phrase of a song, alas being lyrics, I believe this ban should immediately be lifted, as there was no malice or bad intent behind the use of the word. In your rules it states: " Same with the n-word (though we'll excuse it in song lyrics, unless the singer is using it in a derogatory way - and we have to be able to tell that it's song lyrics, so quotes or something would be helpful if you want to avoid the drama)." In the song, the chrous talks about a rapper who is trying to make it and this is his messege to the world. He refers to himself as 'Nigga', therefore no derogatory inneuendos were ever made. This is the song in question, . This will not happen again, and as this is my first instance of any wrongdoing, this may be considered a slight knee jerk reaction. I implore you to understand my situation and thank you for your time.
The message back from Tengaged_moderation was pretty dumb:
'There is a reason why he didn't get a full 3 day ban. It wasn't a big deal to us, but other players have been banned for this. We refuse to be biased. '
It clearly states on their fucking rules that using the word in lyrics is not banworthy if its not derogatory. He did NOTHING wrong and offended NOBODY! This is a really unfair ban. He should be unbanned NOW.
