It's early in 2019 and I already have a very big regret. I should not have invested so much time and energy to play a virtual reality show because almost everyone on there, except for the cute little host and a few others, are now verbally abusing me, encouraging me to do bad things to myself, and hacking my social media accounts to make fake messages that make me look like a hateful person, a racist, and a homophobe. I can't give spoilers about the game itself, but I learned enough about myself and about how other people during the course of the game that I'm not sure I'd ever do a virtual reality show ever again. I would, however, do a live reality show if the opportunity came to pass, but I am really getting tired of the cyberbullying issues that come with ORGs. Cyberbullying is a real, very painful issue that damages lives every day!
I'm not ruling it out entirely, but it would take a lot for me to do it again. At one point, the host wanted me to ask my mom to play a future season, but my mother is already aware of the trouble that the org community has caused me and has encouraged me before to quit playing games for my own sanity. I did this as a favor to a friend, but I am really regretting all the time spent and I think the years I have spent playing ORGs are finally starting to catch up with me.
Minis and brantsteeles aren't as brutal as ORG's are, as both only for one evening at a time and everyone leaves those games being friends. ORGs are really too intense and I'm getting too old to keep doing it, so 2019 may be the end of the road for that. Full-length ORGs really are rollercoasters and I'm getting very tired of riding them, so I really, really might hang my hat up as far as they go and just focus on the smaller games from now on.
