As a group of people that identify ourselves as outcasts... Feb 19, 2019
it always baffles me of how we treat each other.

I find it crazy that Blitszims is being forced to defend herself over vague messages and rumors. If you're going to bring something to the public forum actually post evidence, because until you do, it's baseless conjecture and you leave yourself open to being banned for defamation.

This whole situation reminds me of when Keemstar sent his army of followers to send hate at an older Runescape player because his researcher thought he looked like a convicted pedophile. No one had any proper facts and just got on the hate train.

I'm not defending anything that may have been said as I have no information other than the vague blogs on the page, but i just find it shocking for a group of people that claim they have been bullied off site are so quick to get their flaming torches based on rumors.

My friends can be so rude Jan 25, 2019
Last year they were like 'talk to us if you feel depressed...we're here for you'

This morning 'I'm not in the mood for the "poor me" routine'

I was just talking about something that happened. Sorry just venting.

An incident that has restored my faith in humanity + My New Year's Resolution Dec 31, 2018
Side note - There is some mention of things that may upset people that are easily squeamish, so if you know that's you feel free to ignore this blog.

TLDR at the bottom. :p

Basically for the last few days I have been in the South of France with my family. Today we traveled back as we always like to spend New Year's Day at home. Basically to cut a long story short i haven't been feeling very well today, but me being typically British just tried to get on with it and make it home.

I didn't feel great on the flight but it passed without a major incident, apart from my Mum losing one of her hearing aids.

Our car was stored on an outside lot and you have to get this bus. I started to feel nauseous but again I just wanted to get home. We get on the bus and I stand with my case. These two girls with hijabs (I know this sounds random but there is a point to this) get on and they're struggling with their bags, I would normally help them but I barely could see straight at this point.

The bus starts moving once everyone is on and straight away I feel  like I'm going to throw up. I dry wretched so loudly that I must have scared everyone  on the bus. Anyways my mum leaps up to help me and so does one of the girls. She grabs a bag for me to use and instructs me even though I must sound like a dying cow to sit down because the vertigo is going to make me feel worse. She stays with me until I stop dry wretching. I barely mumble a thanks and she goes back to her place.

This incident reminded me of something that happened to Yoshitomi earlier this year where she fell at a station and was on the floor for a few minutes and hundreds of people  just walked on by, except in my incident a perfect stranger helped me. Henna didn't get any help, I  couldn't believe no one stopped to help her, so I chalked it up to people are so insular nowadays and didn't even think of helping a stranger. My incident has really helped me change my mind about that.

It pisses me off that there are some places in the world that Muslim people are persecuted because of their beliefs or treated as the 'enemy' because of a small minority group.

Again Yoshitomi's blog highlights this to me:
https://tengaged.com/blog/Yoshitomi/8755134/question

I'm not religious but it's like all Christians being judged as awful people because of the actions of the Westboro Baptist Church.

Most Muslim people I know are the kindest, sweetest and wisest people I have ever met and tbh in 2019 I don't think religious differences should matter. Regardless of our religion / beliefs we should help others that need it. :p :)

Anyways, just to catch you up. I'm home now, I was never actually sick and have just slept for three hours so feel 10 x better.

My New Year's resolution is to be more like the girl that helped me today, I mean I don't think many people would go help a stranger that sounds like he is possessed by a demon. Basically I have made this blog so I can look back at it when I'm feeling low and remind myself that there are extremely selfless people out there. I wish I could just see this girl again to give her a proper thank you.

Happy New Year everyone.

TLDR: Catch was unwell on a bus and  this perfect stranger helped him. In 2019 he wants to be more like her. :p
