I get why he is saying report anyone you have suspicions on, but I'm pretty sure that message has created a witch hunt. I for one was messaged last night and interrogated by a user asking who my original account was, do I have skype, where I was from, how old I was and did I know a user that was banned a few years ago (I think they were implying I was him.)
I'm not sure if this person's intention was to report me, they may have done so already in a private message, but it made me think that is dangerous at the moment to just report everyone you have suspicions on without solid proof. Yes some accounts are obvious, but there has to be some 'benefit of the doubt' given.
To my friends on here it's obvious I'm not a multi, but to strangers I may look like I am as I only played a few games and of the games I have played I have done well. So if I get reported what process would happen...? Would I get banned on a hunch? I mean...I thought Admin didn't have the ability to check IP addresses yet.
I think at the moment you should be reporting only people you're sure are multis and if you do have a hunch, say that you're not sure to Admin and you would like them to investigate.
++++ 100% agree
I have been reported to Admin a number of times and all have been false. There should be some deterant for making false accusations when there are blatant multis still out there flaunting it while admin does nothing.
