The excuse of “well they were nice to me” when confronted with nasty things that someone they know has done to others. Idk it’s just such a selfish way of thinking. Like that’s awesome that you weren’t treated horribly, but it doesn’t erase or excuse how they’ve treated others.
Idk just some things have triggered me tonight. I’m not going into detail but I’ve had a situation happen to me irl and one of my supposed closest friends (a few of them tbh) either tried to defend him or still choose to be friends. It just makes you feel so alone. That’s all, just needed to get that off my chest.

Yeah no thats fucked up Im sorry you've had to go through that! My friend went through a similar situation where other friends defended the person and we both were like fuck them all cause thats not right :(
That's horrible. I really hate that mindset, I wish more people could understand that someone being nice to you personally does not erase things they have done to other people. I'm really sorry your friends made you feel that way.
